Farbod21
Anwar S. ntotoro
So they get rid of a ton of older players only to try to sign one... ?
Get Pissed
So they get rid of a ton of older players only to try to sign one... ? Way exactly what I was thinking
SeanTaylorLives
We all know what will happen. TB will sign him, he'll have a monster year, and sack/break J.C.s leg effectively ending his career. We will then put in Brennan and it will be the start to a H.O.F. career. Note: Not really, but wouldn't it be ironic if the best thing that J.T. ever does for the Redskins occurs after we cut him. Also, I am not one of those "start Brennan now" people, so don't put me into that category. Thanks
DexterSackMachine
So they get rid of a ton of older players only to try to sign one... ? You said it! I can't figure out what they are trying to accomplish in Tampa, but I'll bet you they don't win 6 games this year...
Mickalino
So they get rid of a ton of older players only to try to sign one... ? And of course the media will praise them instead of crucifying them, like they would to us, regardless of whether our signed free agent is old or not
CM916
This could put an annoying damper on the joy I have felt at knowing the Bucs finally have to come to DC again this year.
terrifNick21
**** the Succaneers. They can have him. Won't do them any good.

Thanks So you're saying Taylor breaking Campbell's leg and ending his career is the best thing he could do for us? But you aren't one of the start Colt now guys? So what are you then? Someone who just wants to see one of the hardest workers on the team be forced to retire? Okay.
Rdskn4Lyf21
Is it just a coincidence that in just 6 short years, two teams that met in the Super Bowl (the Bucs and Raiders) are both in hopeless, downward spirals?
kiingspadee
We play TB this year too
Get Pissed
We play TB this year too Watch that be one of their six wins next year. Just like the St. Louis game this year.
[[ghost]]
That makes sense. Cut a bunch of quality veterans for a youth movement (which is understandble)... only to try to sign a DE thats also old.
kiingspadee
Of course Jason Taylor will play that game and completely manhandle our OL
Jofizz
He'll probably have a 7 sack day against us.
Renegade7
Tampon Bay isn't making any sense anymore. Are you rebuilding or not? :bucsuck: < there it is
Rexrode21
It doesn't make sense. I just wrote in the Derrick Ward thread that I was proud of the Bucs for getting rid of aging vets and going with youth, and then they go with this? I understand it's nice to have one veteran to lead your D and one to lead your O... but why not keep Brooks in this case instead of JT?
Hiro
It doesn't make sense. I understand it's nice to have one veteran to lead your D and one to lead your O... but why not keep Brooks in this case instead of JT? Yeah this doesn't make sense to me. Derrick Brooks hasn't shown any signs of slowing down anytime soon. Why cut a future HOFer and a team icon?
Gold21
Yeah apparently he wasn't happy here, and felt he was playing out of position. The off season work out program thing was just an excuse for him to be released.
chr31ter
I'm calling it now: Jason Taylor to New England. Brady loves him, Belicheck loves him, he has a great deal of respect for the Patriots, and he could play the same role for New England that he did in Miami's 3-4 under Saban... the Mike Vrabel role. Add in that the Pats now have a ton of cap space, and it seems like a perfect match to me.
dockeryfan
Tampon Bay isn't making any sense anymore. Are you rebuilding or not?:bucsuck: < there it is No one can figure that out. They're a little schizophrenic right now.
