Captain James
I would like to know where everyone buys their lobsters from. I'm looking for suggestions other than from local markets. I don't live near anything close enough to just drive to. I love fresh lobsters and I recently bought from www.Simplylobsters.com and my experience with them was close to perfect. I was most impressed with their customer service. The lobsters arrived alive and kickin and tasted excellent! Any other experiences? If not, then i thoroughly recommend Simplylobsters.com :applause:
ixcuincle
This reminds me of a story in high school when some of the people I knew back then rang the doorbell and phoned me and said there was a monster at the door and I opened the door and there was a lobster there and we cooked and ate it. Nothing happened to me though although it is suspicious why someone would just ring my doorbell and drop a lobster at the front door.
DButz65
Lobsters are a side dish for me whenever im eating seafood, but when i am its usually crabs! I'll get a lobster tail here and there, but i would be "fishy" (pun intended) about ordering anything like that online. My :2cents: Where you are i know its hard to get fresh seafood

SkinsBry
I got live lobster in Portland, Maine last fall. The best, sweetest lobster I've ever had. They packed for travel and they'll ship it to you too. Here is the place I got them from. http://www.harborfish.com/

Capt Rich Fla
When ever you eat a lobster it is supposed to be fresh. Just like crabs, you could get sick from eating dead lobsters. Soooo, if you are eating a lobster it is probably fresh. just me thinking.

The Brave Little Toaster Oven
http://www.boothbaylobsterwharf.com/ We order from them. When I went there in person on my trip to Maine, we ate 24 lobsters in 2 days....it was THAT good.
Zguy28
Never, ever order shrimp with lobster sauce from a Szechuan restaurant. Ever. But I do love me some lobster, and lobster rolls too. I always get some when I'm on vacation in Cape Cod. Them and some mean onion rings from Arnold's in the mid-cape.

Dude, next time you are in Mass, go to the Clam Box in Ipswich....by FAR the best seafood you will EVER eat. People were standing in line for an hour just to eat there. WVUforREDSKINS
This is my favorite seafood meal. Red Lobster's ulitimate feast If you will be at the draft day tailgate this year, I expect to bring a lot more crab legs than I did last year. :hungry:

Captain James
I get them from www.saltriverlobster.com. They're fresh from Maine. They're in Bethesda on Fridays and Kensington on Saturdays. I think they're in Baltimore on Sundays. Their prices seem a little more expensive than www.simplylobsters.com and they have a lot less options in terms of sizes. Oh well, to each his own. :logo:

NattyLight
I did a www.lobstergram.com for my Aunt and Uncle this Christmas. Two 1.5lb 'sters + two 8oz filets + fixins' for a little under $100 bucks delivered on Christmas Eve. Other than that, you can't beat Giant when they have 1.25s on sale for <$10/lb. They're just as tasty as something you can get up north.
