Andre3stacks
ESPN's Ed Werder reports that the Cowboys have had internal discussions about releasing Terrell Owens this offseason. This is a massive long shot. Owens, due a $3.1 million roster bonus and $2.67 million base salary in 2009, is well worth the money and showed late in the 2008 season that he hasn't lost a step. The 35-year-old scored five TDs in Dallas' last eight games, averaging 18.9 yards per catch over that span. I personally dont want him but I just got a feeling Snyder may consider it. Wouldn't mind it but 2 probable cancers on offense are way too much. SkinsAllDay34
1. Hell no!!! 2. CP is not a cancer and nowhere near TO in what he does

markmx
What??????? No way Snyder would get publicly hung up faster than Mussolini was.
Jahbird
TO is a cancer, Clinton Portis is a state of mind. I dont see Snyder jumping at TO if he goes. Danny Boy got burnt by Neon Deon. Hopefully he is through overpaying overaged FA's

LeftCoast Skinz FAN
God I hope not!!!! I hate T.O.!! That would be the worst thing that could happen. Having to root for him would be :puke:....... Sorry, what was I saying........
Andre3stacks
1. Hell no!!!2. CP is not a cancer and nowhere near TO in what he does I really dont consider him a cancer but both of them colliding and become one. Imagine press conferences with both of them complaining about not getting the ball more. TO is much worse ofcourse but both on the same team wouldn't be pretty. McD5
I would put the odds of Snyder contacting him at 100% if he is released. Now....I doubt he would sign, due to our qb situation, and the chances of us making a deep run into the playoffs next year.
Stew
If we are going to throw money at a WR I would hope it would be Boldin, he is a FA this off season.

aubreyjn
How many ways can i say this... No, Nope, Nut(Australia), Naw, Nah, No way, Na, Sega (Fiji), Nein, Ji nahi (Hindi), ndak (Indonesian), Iie (Japan) that will do. i mean do you really want a guy on your team who signals his own initials after he scores a td? :dallasuck:eaglesuck:gaintsuck:dallasuck:dallasuck

redskinsgamers
I would consider him as long as his contract is reasonable.
mistertim
Only if he signed for a very modest contract. Oh, and he changed from a WR to an All Pro Tackle.

hail2skins
Think about though.......in retrospect, I'd rather the Skins have signed TO in the offseason prior to 2006 than the money we dumped into ARE and Brandon Lloyd.
MWCREDSKINS
No way. He's the last thing this team needs. Devin Thomas needs a role model and this is not it. I'll love to see a Derrick Mason type but not TO

redskinsgamers
I'd rather have To than CJ. But the only way you take TO is on a one year deal, maybe 2 years. But second year is the teams option. TO always seems to have big year the first one on his new club. Then things go downhill fast. I still think he has another big season left in him. I'd love to see the build up for the Dallas games if he were a Redskin next season. Dallas week would be really fun.
SKINSFAN87
We need a big play receiver BAD on this team. TO would be a great pickup. Moss isn't getting it done and besides he needs help to become a legit threat. I can't believe people are shooting down this notion.
Pounds
Only if he signed for a very modest contract. Not even then. Oh, and he changed from a WR to an All Pro Tackle. Now you're talkin'.
Bzapf
He is exactly the kind of athlete the receiving corps needs. But still no. I would only consider it if it was a one year deal.
redskinsgamers
I think all this is moot anyways. I would be very very surprised if Dallas cut him.
