HigSkin
...remind each other the severity of their situation and perilous playoff position they occupy going in to Baltimore. They need a killer attitude and play like it's the last game of the season. I'm surprised it hasn't been suggested. What would you say if you were part of this meeting? Lombardi's_kid_brother
I love the concept of the players only meeting and how it is seen as a cure-all. Someone less employed than I am needs to compile a list of all the losses that followed players only meetings. Because we never hear about them. Ball Coach
We are not allowed to call or participate in players-only meetings.
GC8 Bunta
they should all sit down and watch the 3 episodes of Americas Game on the 3 Redskins Superbowl Teams. That should get them motivated and ready
Disco Dave
I'm sad to say that I think it's too late for that. They should have done that weeks ago.
ttr77
So, the team was unable to get motivated on a day that they added a fallen teammate's name to the Ring of Honor, yet a players only meeting will do the trick? Sorry...they should already know the severity of the situation.

Laxpunk2006
Yeah...we're close to blowing up the team...it ain't happening with the personnel we have. What good would blowing up our team do? Most of our guys are too young or too old to hold any real trade value. The best player we have is Portis and we've seen how difficult it is to get ANYTHING for a player, especially one taking the beating Portis is. Releasing players would destroy our cap situation and not leave us with enough room to even sign inferior talent. Blowing up a team is a last resort for teams in serious turmoil. In a season with a rookie HC we have 7 wins through 12 games. Even the biggest homers were predicting 8 wins and we've almost surpassed that. Let's show a little patience before we set ourselves back another 5 years.
JimmyConway
Paloffs is now! Paloffs started last week. We're 0-1 in the paloffs so far. They're still now though.

Embarassing display on a special day ...against an 11-1 team that happens to be SB champs. Seriously, how is it that an "emotionally motivating" ceremony always gets looked at as a magic bullet to win games against superior teams?????? It can be a factor, a catalyst, but motivation alone cannot win football games or any other games!
