Why I'm voting Democrat!

It's funny that you will freely point the finger at me, before having any understanding of my posting history.

I think you may be the one who needs others to look out for you, which would explain your support for Obama.

I am 100% against the war and would yank every single troop today if I could, then do anything necessary to not send one single cent to the ME.

Does that answer your question?

I can point my stupid human finger at anyone I want. Yeah, that answers the question I guess. The war is pretty silly, like fighting a virus with antibiotics.

I just find it funny that the bible belt votes strictly republican although the party doesn't benefit them at all save for a few moral and religious victories.

i just think its interesting that studies have shown that higher education or pursuing higher education leads one to take more liberal stances. Maybe because they are less ignorant about the world they live in. could that be? hmmm.....

Either way, the one issue that is most important to me is healthcare.

The current healthcare system is ****ed up beyond belief.

Universal healthcare is necessary and the right thing to do.

If you don't believe in universal healthcare, then you are essentially saying (when you sift through all the BS) that if you do not have money that you don't deserve to live.

I just love how caring the Democrats Really are to us poor people, they have been trying for 30 + years to help us out let alone the past 8 of the Evil Bush years.. The first 4 years of bush was ok, the Last 2 was horrid, oh wait that is when the dems took over..

Watch these and get educated..

quote=DarrellsMyHero28;5757550]A) I did call out the OP

and

B) I was referring to the politicians, not the supporters

No need to get all upset, I don't have a problem with people that are Republican but I do hate the ignorance that plagues this country and the jackasses that have ****ed this country over for the last 8 years.

OMG, you are joking with this one right? Tounge in cheek maybe?

That is one gigantic leap of tripe. There ane many reasons to not support universal health care and I dont know of any that involve a desire to see poor people die. What a pile of dung your post is.:(

I visited Vermont recently and realized just how much variation there is in types of maple syrup and how many things you can put syrup on. Pork chops and syrup for example is pretty good.

More did you know Ben and Jerry's ice cream graveyard has more than 100 flavors of ice cream that they've put to rest?

You do this trash too much. Just respond to his post intelligently instead of disrespecting him.

I almost never use that technique, but let's be honest. It was hate-filled spam that's 100% propaganda. What was there to intelligently debate? It's just democrats are the devil silliness.

So then who are you supporting? Because neither candidate is for universal healthcare.

dude do you have any experience in the healthcare industry at all? i work in it every day. Everyone deserves the right to basic healthcare. the current system ****s all over the poeple who don't have the money to afford the necessary check ups and medicines that accompany relativelty routine diseases or illnesses.

there is no ****ing way any kind of privatized health care can provide basic health care for the homeless and poor.

Name some reasons not to support universal healthcare.

If you believe in this current system then by association you support the notion that people without money don't deserve the right to life.

Keep telling yourself that. I have a master's and I am not liberal at all. I would also not describe myself as ignorant about the world I live in. I would like to go back and get my PHD, and I guarantee I will not be liberal when I come out. My beliefs are fundamentally different from liberal beliefs in many different arenas. It has nothing to do with the degree I hold or how smart that makes me, it has everything to do with my beliefs.

Of course there are exceptions to the rule.

Most people that have higher degrees that i've had experience with (all my high school and college professors) are mainly liberal. not sure why this is, but its been that way for me.

this is the second time you've said this and its ****ing ridiculous. there are problems with the current system no doubt, but it has advantages too. believe it or not, there are a lot of problems with universal healthcare as well. its unfair and ridiculous for you to say that if someone doesn't support universal healthcare then they want poor people to die.

Professors and high school teachers are not the general population. They are known to be liberal. Many teachers are. I am a teacher. I am not.

you know what, it really isn't.

Yea there are problems with every ****ing system.

However all people deserve the right to basic ****ing healthcare!

The current system is bull****. what advantages are there?

The insurances are the ones running your healthcare not doctors. The insurances tell you what medication to take irrespective of your doctors wishes. If you dont comply to insurances you will be paying 300-400 for every medication you take.

The current system provides absolutely nothing for the poor and homeless.

Unless you don't consider them people and then i understand.

We need a god damn system that gives everyone the possibility of health care. That means things like free yearly check ups, and that is the very least we can do.

I don't care what you think is fair or unfair. Universal healthcare goes along way to providing the necessary care without the owrry of ridiculous healthcare costs for those that don't have the money to just up and go to a doctor or even a god damn walk in clinic.

We are currently ranked 37 in WHO's rankings. This is behind countries like andorra, san marino, oman, costa rica.

That also needs to be addressed

This is a good article to read: http://www.boston.com/news/globe/editorial_opinion/oped/articles/2007/08/11/frances_model_healthcare_system/

it talks about the no.1 health care system in the world and how it works as a universal health care system while providing the freedoms of the US health care for doctors and patients alike.

Free health care? never happen, no such thing as free, what happened in Hawaii? You can delude yourself on the idea of free (what ever) and fight to get it, just remember you screw yourself and this country.. McCain isn't close to the perfect conservative/capitalist on the block but he sure is better then a socialist tax and spend spread the wealth communist like Oboma, it really is a no brainer.

We need true conservatives in congress and the senate, a line item veto with a conservative constitutionalists thinking president with balls to use it, ie tell the liberals to PACK SAND!!
