ozskin
How about no trading of draft picks this year? Yeah good luck with that.
1972FAN
Cut Brunell, keep Collins, get a QB later in the draft.
pjfootballer
good god do the redskins have to go after every single player in free agency or asking for a trade? Apparently we do. Happens every offseason. I got angry in the Crumpler thread and people couldn't understand why. These threads pop up every time someone is released. Sonny9TD
What about trading for Chris Simms as a second or third string QB? He knows the WC system, and has had some success in the past. He probably could be obtained fairly cheap. Please give me your thoughts. Thanks I like the idea. He is tough. I like him.
Veretax
Look guys, even if you want Chris Simms, NO DRAFT PIcks for him. Seriously this is like the Duckett trade all over, Simms will be cut if we wait long enough, let's not jump the gun.

DirtySkin21
I WOULD NOT trade anything for him but I would sign him afte rthe bucs let him go and let him compete... WHY NOT? if he wins the back-up job and possibly mor ewhat can it hurt?
Capt Rich Fla
Will we have to trade another pick to get his spleen back? I wish I knew what a spleen was. What is it used for and why are they always ruptured? Honest to God I don't have a clue what it does.
Bang
Other than the spleen thing (he;s literally gutless.. ) he has a very bad habit of not throwing tall. He ducks his shoulder repeatedly when he throws and his passes are constantly being knocked back in his face. He can't seem to shake it, and it is a prime reason they've been trying to replace him since they drafted him. remember the playoff game in 05? We swatted about 6 passes back in his face. He's like 6'4".. there's no excuse that he can't get it over the line. ~Bang

skindogger47
I'd rather have ARE as our backup.
DraftChrisLong
Matt Schaub would have been a good pick up when he was 2nd string with the Falcons but now the Texans will prob want a good bit for him
Koolblue13
good god do the redskins have to go after every single player in free agency or asking for a trade? It's not the Redskins, it's the Fans.
angel2
What about trading for Chris Simms as a second or third string QB? He knows the WC system, and has had some success in the past. He probably could be obtained fairly cheap. Please give me your thoughts. Thanks He's a free agent this year due to his spleen incident. But, I ask why do we go after these QBs when we have Bramlet on our roster? Didn't he run a version of the WCO offense while playing in the NFLE league? The Enforcer
Nah, I would pass on this one, I agree with the majority get a veteran to back up JC & draft a young rookie late in the draft to complete the roster.
WSHRedskins3ATLBraves3
What about trading for Chris Simms as a second or third string QB? There's no reason to trade for a backup QB. Let's just sign one in free agency so we don't have to give up any picks.
redman
I'm funny this way, but it's my policy to have as many spleens on my team as players.
