Thoughts about trading for Chris Simms

I wouldn't take Chris Simms in a box.

I wouldn't take Chris Simms with a bag of rocks.

I wouldn't take Chris Simms if his NFL stats were the size of a mouse (oh wait, they are).

I wouldn't take Chris Simms if you gave me his house (or his car).

I don't want Chris Simms for a 2010 draft pick.

I don't want Chris Simms for a used WaterPik.

I don't want Chris Simms even if he's really St. Nick.

I don't want Chris Simms if you GAVE me Tampa's #1 pick (OK, maybe then).

No thanks, Brucko, if that's your name.

I don't want Chris Simms because he's really quite lame.

Anyone who would endorse either a trade or a free agent signing of chris simms is out of their mind.

For starters, he's not that good. he had one good season with the bucs, but since then, all he's proven is that he's a fragile guy, at a position where that's unacceptable.

Second, like mark brunell before we signed HIM, Chris Simms is about to get cut in Tampa Bay. Any team who would be dumb enough to trade something for a guy who is going to be on the scrap heap, is just stupid.

This is a horrible idea. listening to the radio coverage of the Bucs in camp, they would say things like "wow, this guy can't hit a broad side of a barn." They said that his injury must have been more serious or something because it was like he had to learn to throw all over again. They actually expected him to be cut, but since he's Gruden's boy they held on to him. Anyway, the last thing we need is a garbage arm.
