bedlamVR
http://www.startribune.com/sports/vikings/15534342.html Kenechi Udeze of the Vikings has been diagnosed with a form of leukemia, KSTP (Ch. 5) reported Monday night. The station did not reveal the source for its story on its website. It said that Udeze's doctors are trying to determine what grade of leukemia he is dealing with and that it could take several weeks. Not good for him . I think this is not the first time and may be a recourance of the disease . Thoughts for him and his family

LiveStrongSkins
This really hits at home with me. My life was flipped upside down by a cancer diagnosis at age 19. My best wishes go to Udeze. Miracles happen, and medicine has come a long way. I refuse think that there will be any other outcome but victory for Udeze over this monster. BigDaddy65
The outcome will be determined by the form (Mieloid or Lymphocytic type) and by the specific cellular pattern. If true that's a recurrence, prognosis become worse by default.
Oldskool
http://www.startribune.com/sports/15654067.html Udeze out for year The word on Kenechi Udeze, the Vikings defensive end who is being treated in the Fairview Southdale Hospital for leukemia and has been there since the problem was discovered, is that he is making some progress through chemotherapy treatments. Apparently the former Southern California football star was in Idaho when he started to fall ill and flew in here for an examination and the problem was discovered. There is no chance of him playing football this season but a good chance for recovery.
