That would be something. I fully expected them to have Butterbean vs. James Toney, or something similar as the co-main. If he follows through, I'll give a nod of respect to Haymon. Khan/Broner could easily headline any PBC, HBO, or Showtime card.

For the record, Khan easily takes out Broner. Barring Khan having mental meltdown in the ring, which is certainly possible, I see no way Broner goes 12.

My only concern with this fight getting made is that it's a relatively quick turn-around for AB. If there's gonna be any roadblock to prevent it, that would be it right there.

It's not as if he was in a war. Guys used to fight month after month and some still do. Broner could definitely be ready by May 2.

those guys ended up as vegetables.

And you should go 12 rounds with someone who is swinging at your head and see if you want to do anything 2 months later, let alone fight again.

I am not saying Broner should not. Just saying I am surprised.

Stephan A. Smith doesn't really know **** about boxing. But on the flip side, Skip Bayless knows 10x less than Stephan A. Which is why I pay no attention to either of these clowns on First Take.

Now with that being said, that segment was probably one of the most entertaining segments ever on ESPN. Manny was trolling hard which was pretty funny. Skip was hanging on his jock strap & Stephen A was downright hilarious.

I'll try to find a link for anybody who missed it.

Broner said he's ready and made the reference that he was hardly hit. Guys still month to month. Not main eventers, but guys just starting out.

If you think Skip was on Pacquiao jock, don't let Mayweather come on while Stephen A is there. It might not be fit for TV.

Guys that go month to month are usually fighting in scheduled 6 or 8 round fights.

Might not be the worst thing for Broner though, it might prevent him from blowing up in weight as he's known to do.

I hear that the early money is going in Pacquiao's favor. Some have even.said it wouldn't be surprising if this was a pick-em fight by May 2.

Yep. The majority of the general pub are placing those "Oh what the hell, might as well" bets which is causing the line to get smaller & smaller. **** i even went online & thought abt puttin a couple hundred on Paq just for the hell of it. That thought was gone as fast as it came; like i said, really not in the habit of wasting $$

Taking all bets tho in case anyone was interested. . . .

I am not too overly familiar with how the actual bets affect the line.  So if say if the lines initially favor Mayweather but joe bob boxing fans out there go and put a ton of money on Pac does it skew the odds automatically due to the casinos not wanting to pay  out a huge pay day in the case of Pac winning?

Also, watched the press conference fairly uneventful, rather short. Looks like both camps know it's time to get down to business. I like it.

So essentially, let's say Pacquiao was +250 to start (bet 100 on him to win nets you $250).  And then the public started betting heavily on Pac.  Then the odds would decrease (to +170) because the casinos wan't to even the weight on each side.

A few of the gamblers I follow on twitter said they expected it, and were actually pretty excited because they'll be able to bet Mayweather at a better number closer to fight night.

Read online that Porter/Garcia is off Saturday due to Garcia failing his medicals. That had potential to be an exciting fight, terrible for Garcia. He might not get this opportunity again.

Porter will now face someone named Erick Bone.
