It is a very offensive word to a great many people due to the deep religious connotation it holds. It would be nice if the community was respectful enough to realize this and choose different language. There are plenty of other words used here that aren't filtered but are offensive. Faggot is one.(unless it's recently been filtered. We'll see when I reply ) Anyone who's been active in the tailgate knows were I stand on Homosexuality, yet I find the word faggot to be an offensive word. Go figure. It should be banned as well.
