It is Time to blow up the offense

Yes the line has to be rebuilt with younger player because right now we need a RT, RG, and LG. Jansen might have one more year along with Thomas. As far as the WR I think we sould keep Moss and Randel El for the time being and then Draft a tall possesion type Wr either in 2nd or third rd of this years draft and the next couple of drafts.

We don't need a RT /RG, like I said, Heyer is gonna have one of those spots, more then likely RT. So, needing to fill 3 or 4 spots isn't what I call blowing up the O.

Yeah they may still be in competion in the NFC playoff hunt buts thats not saying much. I mean come on we are selling ourself short here. Yeah we are in the hunt for the playoff berth in the NFC but it is apperent the NFC is a joke. We need after this year to build through the draft and Gibbs is got to go we need to get a GM and a Young coach in here. I still think that we can make it to the playoffs, and I have not given up on this Season but you have to think big Picture do really think this team can compete with the Pats or the Colts no we can't it was apperent yesterday that we couldn't even hold the Pats Jock Strap.

Dude, you kinda just said the exact same thing I did cept the new coach (which I kinda said)

And since the NFC isnt really full of contenders more of a reason for us to not take drastic measure and build the team slowly

It's time to fire Al Saunders and his wide receiver screens. I hate this kind of offense. He wants wide receiver screens even when the defense is playing press coverage, its ridiculous.

Redskins football is about running the football!!!!!!!!!

The last 3 games have been pathetic offensively speaking.

FIRE AL SAUNDERS NOW!!!

I agree but this is not working at all the offense is horrible 7 games and our WR have not scored a TD. I was thinking maybe we should bring in a Russ Grimm but still keep Lazor as QB Coach or OC sense JC has good reapor with him. I know it stinks to start over but this is most effective way to see turnaround with this offense.

the line needs to stay the same. We just need quality depth behind the starters. Rebuilding the whole line would tarnish any chance of JC ever becoming a good qb. A good line that sticks together and has been together for a while is key in JC's devlopment.

Just look at the Pats o line.

I agree. For all of you laying all of the blame on Gibbs saying "the game has passed him by" - it's Saunders calling those crappy plays isn't it??

Al may be a great OC, but not for this team.

I agree. Our starters, when healthy, are great. Just look at how we played last season and for the first couple of weeks this year. Just get some young depth and we'll be good to go.

A huge possession receiver would be nice too.

Jansen is done IMO. His play had dropped off last year, and is now out for the season for the second time in three seasons. I think we can get a few good seasons out of Casey and Pete. While I love Randy, he's gettin older, and injuries are becomming more common. Heyer will be ready to take over for Jansen next season if the coaching staff comes to their sences, so we already have one young guy that can step up. Chris is another question mark. He seems to be playing fairly good even though he getting up there in years.

I think we could have a solid line with the addition of two or three players. Suanders needs to be on the sidelines calling the plays, which is what he was brought in for. Gibbs needs to sit back and delegate, and give input where needed, but not run the games.

I mentioned something simular to this yesterday. That we need to address the offensive line in next year's draft. And I agree on Jansen, he is done, but for the rest of them.

-Randy is a keeper for the next couple of seasons. Draft a RG for the future

-Casey still has some years left in the tank, no problem there.

-Kendall, will work for another year or so. Draft a LG to replace him sooner than later.

-Samuels, still is a good player. He may need some competition to keep him on his toes. Let him and Heyer battle it out or have Heyer start at RT.

Dude, you kinda just said the exact same thing I did cept the new coach (which I kinda said)

And since the NFC isnt really full of contenders more of a reason for us to not take drastic measure and build the team slowly

Who cares about competing within the Weak NFC the end game is to win the SuperBowl that means you have to compete with the AFC more then. yeah sure you can do enough to compete with the NFC and make it but then it is all over when you arrive to the Super Bowl when you face the AFC.

Im just saying we shouldnt make rash decisions like blowing up a team and reseting in some desperate attempt. Just keep building slowly and surely. Oline, Big receivers, depth. And before you know it you are a power, and not just contending in the NFC
