No, I am not a native, just adopted the place. Everywhere else seems so boring. Just the right mixture. Not too much. And yes, I remember the first time I heard a Rhode Island accent. It was funny -- still is. But oh, get me in the Italian section of Providence and get OUT of my way. Pasta, pasta, pasta. Trust me, if you are in Providence, find Venda Ravioli. Oh my!!! Rated second best Italian market in the country. I am stuck in Florida most of the year, but my heart will be in Rhode Island for as long as I live. When my body finally decides to exit this planet, my bones will rest in New England, uh, make that Rhode Island. Then I will be happy forever. So, OK make fun. But most of New England is what I call REAL. So hard to find today. Oh, and real, and for the most part smart, and liberal. Good food, beautiful land. I'm not much one for Boston. Try out Providence if you want the right mixture -- not too big, not too small, but with everything. Well, I guess I better be quiet. And they now have a casino. The oldest house in RI is the Lymon Hazard house in Newport its worth the visit. My father incorporated several bricks from the house in his house he remodeled in WVA. I like New England because most of their fans have supported the team since 2001 and have no idea who Grogan was. I like New England because the media told me that Tom Brady is in fact Jesus Christ himself. I like New England because they kicked the crap out of Dallas. I like New England because Adalius Thomas made Ray Lewis mad. I like New England because they ran Stephen King over with a van. I like New England because their coach has film of Jon Gruden and David Boston getting it on. I like New England because I have never been as much of a drunk as Bob Kraft. I like New England because they kept Philthy ringless. I like New England because they spared the country of another Brenda Warner press conference about her husband and how he used to stock shelves. I like New England because Boston didn't support the Redskins causing owner George Preston MArshall to move the 1936 Championship game from Fenway Park to Yankee Stadium. They lost and moved to Washington the next year winning the championship in their first year in DC. The Patriots also almost went bankrupt in Boston; so they moved to Foxboro and became the New England Patriots so they could draw fans from Hartford. Eddie LeBeck was a goalie for the Bruins and Married Carla on Cheers. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck love the place! Colonists had Thanksgiving dinner with the Indians.
