It would seem we were 0-5 after the garbage all spewed across the board today. We still have a winning record...there are a TON of teams that would love to be in our position....its not like we got blown out. Its just insane around here when we lose...fire this guy and demote that guy so forth and so on. Losses happen to every team...its not like we were going 16-0. People obviously THOUGHT WRONG that we'd go undefeated this year and now they are running around like chickens w/their heads cut off. HTTR! Time to bounce back vs. Detroit. Sure we have our problems, but almost all the other teams in the NFL do right now as well. It could be worse, our QB could be named Grossman. Like freakofthesouth said, our coach could be Norv Turner. It's one loss and before the season is over we may have a few more of them. That coupled with our 2nd half meltdown in which we looked like last year's Redskins, has many worried that we could head down that same path. I know--come one guys. We only forced three turnovers. We were only up by fourteen points at the half (allowing the Giants just three points) at home with 90,000 screaming Redskins fans. We only had the chance to bury the Giants. We were only manhandled in the second half. I don't understand why people are so upset. So, now we're going to be 15-1 instead of 16-0. Big deal. And anyway, we all know that loss happened in an alternate universe and in reality we are 3-0 right now. And thank you, fellow Extremeskins member, for telling everyone else how they should think and feel. Perhaps you can offer your advice for other important life decisions that might come up for me. But I will state my opinion about how and why we lost. What should be done about it and what we need to do in the future to avoid this same thing. Fans who come in here to dog the team and coaches are wrong. But, I thinks some civil criticism doesn't hurt at all. There were some obvious problems when you don't beat an 0-2 team who has given up 80 points in their first 2 games. We just need to game plan better and attack the other team. I personally disagree with the people saying our season is over, but I do agree that the playcalling was terrible. I actually think having these threads is fun and a very good way to let off some steam and to debate amongst ourselves. People are always going to have different views then one another so it is nearly impossible to prevent "negative" threads. It could always be worse.
