Ken
he looked very average against Miami. so, yes. he doesnt look good against good defenses. Average? Are you smoking crack? Why don't you ask Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas how average he looked... I'm sure if you go look for their comments you will be shocked.
Ken
:rotflmao:and you know what's scary for Poke fans, is Romo sits to pee has no real upside, he is not likely going to get better in fact, he is already about 10% lower on his completion percentage from last season already, and was less than 50% last week for under two hundred yards and only 6.4 YPA attempt? and would have been much worse if not for a late 4th quarter TD to TO when the Phin's were dead on their feet, basically running up the score... not to mention three passes he made that were horrible decisions, that by all rights should have been interceptions against Chicago, they will be If not for? Are you serious? Should he have just thrown an incompletion? Last I checked, its a 60 minute game. Romo sits to pee should apologize for putting a dagger in the Dolphins...wow. You neglected, in your wonderful stat break down, to see how his Td/Int percentage is way better at 6 to 1. You also neglected to notice his qb rating is up to 119. You also neglected to notice his record is 2-0. I'll guarantee you his completion percentage will be over 60% by the end of the season. I will also guarantee Campbells won't be. Any action? Bacon
Well he has to play the Bears in Chicago soon. And we'll see how that turns out. My prediction? Not very well at all. :dallasuck Romo sits to pee's recent success has nothing to do with luck. He just hasn't faced a secondary that's even remotely average yet. The Giants and Dolphins? What a joke.
Bacon
Average? Are you smoking crack? You're right; completing less than half of your passes is below average.
Ken
you mean like when he puts up good numbers against really bad defenseshe is the BEST QB in the NFC? or when he fumbles the game winning kick, it was..... the Hawks who slipped in a slippery ball on him or when the Pokes choke down the stretch, and he has bad games, it was the defenses fault? or when he throws for less than 50% against the dolphins, you only mention his two game average total, since he had a huge game against the worst pass defense in the NFL this season in the first game? So which is it? The Dolphins are a good d or bad? Before the game, they were the greatest D ever. Now, not so much except for the completion percentage. You are delusional. Did you watch the game? Anyone with eyes would see that Romo sits to pee clearly played MUCH better than < 50% completion percentage. Wow.
Smoot Point Really
What is remarkable to me is how Romo sits to pee is sent to the Pro Bowl and considered a "sure thing"... Romo sits to pee is the only guy in this league who makes me pause before I tell Donovan McNabb he's an idiot.
bubba9497
I see. Your argument in the end boils down to wishful thinking. That Romo sits to pee will somehow fall off a cliff. That his performance up to this point has been some form of luck, and that luck will run out.Nothing wrong with that. You are, after all, a Redskin fan. Acknowledging the reality of the situation won't be particularly pleasant for you, so please continue to pretend that it doesn't exist. Keep hope alive! No based on facts Romo sits to pee stinks against good pass defense guess how many he plays this season and talk about being blinded to reality... comparing Romo sits to pee to Brady and Manning like his 12 starts equals there several years of performance :rotflmao: love also how you ignore that Campbell's numbers are the same as Romo sits to pee against the same teams, and how Romo sits to pee has beat only one winning team, or the fact that against teams not in the cellar in defensive rankings, he has stunk up the Joint but then again Poke Fan Mantra keep ignoring the obvious
Bacon
So which is it?The Dolphins are a good d or bad? The Dolphins have a great front 7 and no secondary. It's more of a gray area.
Smoot Point Really
BTW, Terrell Owens helped McNabb throw 20 points higher than his career QB Rating too...

Bacon
Here's another fun fact:I hate Romo sits to pee and Dallass sucks!!! I agree. I'm just tired of hearing about effing Romo sits to pee's numbers being so great when he's only played against terrible secondaries and, furthermore, terrible teams in general so far this season. Ken
You're right; completing less than half of your passes is below average. Yes....because he clearly is an inaccurate passer. Let's not mention the plays he completed for first downs that were called back for penalties, or the drops, or the passes he intentionally threw away. He missed on some as well. Miami is a good defenisive team ya know. 2 more completions and I wouldn't have to listen to this drivel. Ya know, he was over 60% in the first game....and over 65% for the year last year. You are a certified idiot if you think he is inaccurate...

If you hop on one foot, close your right eye, rub your left eye with your hand then really quickly look at the stat sheet, Campbell's numbers look just like Romo sits to pee's. Shall we look at all the luck Romo sits to pee has had to even make him an average qb over the last two years? His ability to get his own fumbles back is phenomenal... (Hint: 2 tds and no interceptions >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>better than 0 Tds and 2 interceptions) Feh. Romo sits to pee's stats were padded by that last throwaway drive that you all are so quick to consider "necessary" because apparently the Phins were "closing in on you". That's no different than throwing a supposed "garbage" hailmary (that would have won us the game if it would have been about three yards closer) at the last second that Romo sits to pee could never throw.
