daddys little skins fan
good info to know. especially when you can't get the game on out here in freakin' Missouri!
Pedro
Good games which the stats back up for JC and MB (which I think clears up the #2 spot). Good enough blocking when Rock and Mason were running with Mason showing some nice cutbacks, though this was against the #2 Jags D. Mason is a keeper IMO. Rock backs up Betts as the crash runner, Mason backs up Portis in the more elusive role. Pretty much what we wanted re: Miami plus saw some good effort from the likes of Wilson. Thanks again for the stats, they show the parts we needed to address are coming along nicely.
Gart Monk
I must admit... I didn't watch the game last night. Kind of like closing your eyes before ripping the band aid off.
DA SKINZ DUDE
I didn't see the game either, but I'm satisfied with the result. I mean a win would have been nice, but its cool. The season begins... Now!!!!!
fwo40
We all know that Jacksonville sat like nearly all its players right? And they had two CB's in there for most of the game that were just trying to win roster spots? This game tells us nothing...other than Campbell is at least able to physically stand back there and throw....which is nice.
Fish434
Omg, Palmer 0 rating..lolIm confident we win more than 9 games this season just by reading campbell's stats. Whew! Read 'em twice, and we'll win 18 games!
jaxskinsville
The Jags only played two starters last night and one of those for only one play. Good to see JC back. Thanks for the stats.
dsciambi
Blades had another 6 tackles, and 2 assists. Granted, he played pretty much the entire game, but the guy is all over the field! Not only is he the leading tackler in the preseason, it's by a VERY wide margin. Rank Player Team Pos Total Solo Ast 1 H.B. Big Bake
JC looked good. I don't care who he played against (1st team, 2 team, third team, 10th team defense). Look at the pre-season for what it is, dress rehearsal. :point2sky
Taylor 36
Well, the moment of truth is nine days away.
Peregrine
JC was lights out, our 2nd string defense held them to 3 points(14-3 at the point we put 3rd stringers in), and we had 68 yards rushing in the first half alone. So our starters and second stringers(backups) looked better than theirs. Unfortunately our 3rd stringers(camp fodder) got their butts kicked by their 3rd stringers(camp fodder). ouvan59
Would anyone here call 88 total yards rushing satisfactory? It's an improvement anyway... No, but 68 first half yards for a 4.9 ypc average is a step in the right direction. The second half was real ugly though.
