Rypien1191
Through the first 12 games of the season, Washington's D is ranked.... Tied for last in sacks (15) Last in takeaways (9) Last in interceptions (5) 2nd to last in fumble recoveries (4) And one of only four teams to not have a defensive TD (NE, KC, Detroit). That's freakin' ridiculous... What DID change this season? (and no, it's not the fact that Ryan Clark isn't here anymore lol)
HapHaszard
What changed? Key injuries are one thing. Yeah I know Williams doesn't have starters but lose Springs, and others and see what happens.
DCsportsfan53
Night and day from the unit the past 2 years. What changed? Not entirely. Chinks in the armour were apparent at times last year and we struggled forcing turnovers for a large portion of last year, too.
RIDETHEWALRUS
Imagine where we would be without ST who forced a couple of those fumbles and has a whopping pick. Or maybe if CR held on to an INT or two While we were not particularly good at forcing turnovers last year, we were very efficient at holding our ground on D and not giving up yards. Thi9s year we have neither.

dwbiggs
Lack of a quality d-line and lack of depth.
Jimbo
In addition to dropped INT's, injuries and poor tackling I can site ineffective blitzing and lack of quality depth as well. We're just not a very good team right now.
roanoker
ugh that is bad. Good reasons why we're 4-10. Wonder what the difference is in giveaways takeaways?
