This was a storm we have never seen the likes of. Yes the feds made mistakes but the first line of defense is the local and state government is and that was the biggest failure, they had no emergency plans, did not test them and most of all did not inform thier citizens on hot to protect themselves. Is that how prepared we are, that the Canadian Royal Mounties got to NO before we did? Tens of thousands of LA National Guardsmen were better off in Iraq than helping their fellow statesman? You see, they have these things called ROADS. Even the military has to use them to get heavy equipment to an area. When the ROADS are out, no one goes anywhere unless they fly. Cheney was spotted, but reporters took the wise course and ducked and ran for cover, donning combat helmets and body armor for protection...... Meanwhile IED resistant vehicles are headed to Iraq en masse, in case demos take over at least some of our troops will be able to survive by retreating to Israel.......... Israel meanwhile has announced free pony rides to everyone who votes repub and a big "THANK YOU FOR KEEPING US ALIVE!" Hillary has just arrived in an angry huff, as her attempts to crack the voting machine software codes was flubbed, like most of her policies and ideas, mainly due to Bill's constant interruptions to request 'oral not sex'. Apparently theresa Heinz is not much of a software genius either. But she did offer to put mayonaise on the machines to repulse voters.......more to come....... Updates on the election day frolicking. Pelosi is now standing with her spiked heel in Kennedy's neck. Apparently he was inside the soda machine and trying to utilize the tiny change slot in a sick manner. He blames the alcohol, and his son's bipolar disorder. His solution is to offer a 32nd toast for the day, claiming 'peace and love not war'. Pelosi is clearly not interested in his 'piece' at the moment. We will keep you updated on the progress of the situation. The ethics comitte stepped in but were waltzed out by Kerry. He literally grabbed Hastert and forced him to dance to the waltz in an effort to distract cameras. So now there are allegations that Hastert may be gay, due to being seen dancing with Kerry, a known bisexual. The news on the polling situtation has apparently caused a ruckus, and several democrats and republicans have donned combat helmets and are firing at one another with paintball guns. Noone really knows why. It seems the democrats are covered in pink paint though. The democrats dont' seem to be bale to hit a single target. Every time they get an enemy in the sights, a lobby group lobbies against actually firing over various civil rights concerns. So the drugs continue to flow. Mantos was seen lying on the floor outside the bathroom, apparently stoned out of his gord. Next to him was his lifelong friend, Al Gored. He was apparently playing Pick Up Stix, and very angry that there were an uneven number of stix, he felt such production threatened the environment. So Mantos offered to finance another movie on his drug money, which Dupont quickly offered to cover up for them. The Duponts were spotted leaving out the back door for a limo, apparently late for a tennis match between several 3rd world nation leaders. Apparently the loser is the next country they will ruin environmentally, with the profits from Al Gored's new movie they will open an advanced chemicals factory there, for no apparent reason at all other than the EPA is not in those countries. The EPA is grateful, as covering more corruption would put them to their limit of coverup ability and cause stress in their leadership. Oh wait, Kennedy is up, and hugging a tree now. He seems to be wiggling. rather strange. He has now proposed anther toast, this one to the environment. Kerry has the microphone and is demanding that the trees be freed. So the toast has commenced. Sceintists are still anayzing the substance found ont he walmark, but are postponing revealing results until several politicians have been cleared of elections. The 'rumor' is that the dna of 14 pages, male and female, were found along with Pelosi's in the mark. It seems the mark was made prior to her engagement with Newt. The party has received reports that some precincts lacked enough voting machines, voting machines that are not working, long lines and delays in the openings of polling paces, said the spokesman Mark Brown. Brown said he did not yet know which court party lawyers would file suit in, but said it would be in Davidson County at about 1:30 p.m. Lawyers had not yet decided whether they would ask that all polls remain open later or ask only that polls in certain regions of the state be open later. Polls are now scheduled to close across the state at 7 p.m. Central Standard Time in Middle and West Tennessee, and 8 p.m. in East Tennessee. Brown had earlier reported problems in Gibson County, where he said a primarily African-American precinct opened 30 minutes late; a primarily African-American precinct in Jackson had problems with voting machines and voters were asked to cast their ballots on paper, he said. And he said they are hearing scattered reports of extremely long lines in counties throughout the state. In Davidson County, he said, the party had received reports of long lines in Bordeaux and in the southern parts of the county near Williams County, including Forest Hills. Tennessee election coordinator Brook Thompson could not be immediately reached for comment about the plans to file suit. Earlier, Thompson said there were scattered reports of problems at some precincts of polls opening late and problems getting voting machines up and running this morning throughout the state, but said he couldn’t be more specific about locations. “It’s a precinct here, a precinct there,” Thompson said. “I’m not sure I can tell you exactly which ones.” Thompson also said he believed all precincts in the state were up and running. A Republican spokesman said he had just received word of the plans to file suit and would soon issue a response.
