peckerwood
Which statistic from Sunday's win has you most excited about the Redskins right now? Offense compiles 481 total yards Offense was 7-of-14 on third downs Defense sacks Leftwich four times 'D' yields only 33 yards rushing Redskins commit only four penalties Time of possession: 36:
jr41911
The offense: 481 yds against Jax is amazing. We established the run and found the big plays. I'm excited to see how the rest of the season goes!

TSO
I know, that one was hard. I was thinking the same thing. I liked the time of possession one. It kinda sums everything up, you know. Noone else really agreed with me though...lol.
JesusTheismann
The penalties. This team might be 3-1 or 4-0 if penalties hadn't been such a factor at the beginning of the season.
dsciambi
I think the 481 yards, mostly because it came off a defense that wasn't giving up much of anything.
brunellguy
Every one of those factors sure were huge! However, I was most EXCITED about the 481 yards of offense, especially considering the defense we were up against.
DaveP666
Looks like things are improving all round. We kinda got slated for racking up yards against the Texans, now we shud have some credit seen as this was against the Jags... right!
Veretax
the sacks and defensive adjustments at half time. claerly we played better on both sides of the ball. Our key players stepped up while jax key players dropped passes at the end.
ragemdw
THE SACKS!! Seems like we havent had any this year!! Oh wait the defense still gave up 30 pts...but hold up only 33 rush yards!! But wait...50% on 3rd down thats pretty good for a qb who is no good to a lot of the people on this board!! BUT I LOVE...Only 4 penalties(a few which were not real penalities...illegal touching by cooley....i only remember one hold and that was on a kick return)!! MY MOST FAVORITE THOUGH...A 2 in the WIN COLUMN!!
glikster04
definately the sacks. we pressured a very good quarterback against a very good O-line. we might be finally comin out! )

dsciambi
We got great pressure on Byron. All through the 2nd half, you could tell he was playing scared. He'd make a run, and fall to the ground very quickly. There was one in particular where ST was still 5-10 yards away and he said screw it and slid. TheGix2
It has to be the yardage.. especially since the Jags were #3, and the teams they played were no pushovers.. it just shows we can move the ball.. GO SKINS
EersSkins05
I choose none of the above. I think the fact that we had a 100 yard rusher against one of the best run-stopping defenses in football means more than any of those stats.
Fan035
I might add to the list - Al Saunders' 700 page playbook. It's making a big difference.
GibbsFactor
I'd have to say the yards because it really says something, given that they were #3 in the league and have already played the 5th and 6th best offenses. The penalties are good but we should do that. The 33 yards against is also good but the Jags run game doesn't really scare me. 4 sacks is something we should get each game. And the 3rd down percentage being 50% needs work. Should be much higher. Hail to the Redskins!
Zguy28
I voted for the pass rush.
desioreo87
How about 0 sacks allowed and i think no holding penalties by our O-line. They are the biggest reason why we won this game. They opened up big holes for portis and gave brunell all the time he needed to make the plays in that game. Heres to the O-line
gray
I'm going for O line all the way around !!!! Great job guys !!!! :applause: :applause: :applause:
terpfan
Gotta be #1. 481 yards of offense, with a 100 rusher, a 100 yard receiver, and a 300 yard passer. Doesnt get much better than that.

Isn't that a "Ducket" speciality? I for one, am not going to question JG and Saunders decision, the Redskins, with the coaches, are going forward in all aspects of the game:notworthy :applause: .:gaintsuck :eaglesuck and on 11/5 and everyday:dallasuck
HailYeah
Its a tie between the Offensive yards and TOP. Those two equal a W.
#1SkinsFan
481 yards against the Jags "vaunted" defense was the most impressive! Also 7-14 on third downs adn holding the jags "power" run game to 33 yareds was nice! But the 481 yards was easily the best stat! Hail!
Big Bake
I would say the 7 of 14 third down conversions was the one stat that was most improved and really helped us to keep drives alive so that we could have an opportunity to score. :applause:
