PCS
Crap. How did I forget Starship Troopers as well. Now that's a movie to watch again and again.
TheREALJBird
I saw a movie on MST3000 before that was so BAD I was compelled to watch it. The movie was called Space Mutiny, it was ridiculous knockoff of many space movies we've seen before. With the dozens of railing deaths and main bad guy that carries his laugh incredibly too much, i'd recommend it to anybody to get a good laugh:laugh:
ECU-ALUM
Ah, Manos.A movie sooooooo bad that the MST3K guys couldn't even think of anything to say during the drive scenes b/c it was so bad. That's why Joel and the bots keep saying "Yes, Manos the hands of fate". I think that's why it's not my favorite b/c they had so little to work with. Hobgoblins was one of those that was so bad that alone you could laugh but when Mike sings the "It's the 80's song" ("It's the 80's do alotta coke and vote for Ronald Reagan") and when the bots make fun of the punk band's "Fish-picker" song-- you can't stop laughing. My biggest problem with Manos is the ending where "The Master" takes the little girl as one of his wives. There was something really wrong and disturbing about that. It just turns a really bad movie to something kinda sick. Yeah I can't argue with you on the ending (if you ever go to IMDB the behind the scenes facts of this movie are just bizzare)...the opening driving sequence I had enough time to grab a shower and a quick shave and it was still going. I think that is the thing I remember the most. The other one I remember was "Time of the Apes.' Not only was it the first one I saw but I also remember switching between that and the "Redskins Report" in 1991 (We played Cleveland the next time and beat the day-lights out of them). ECU-ALUM
Crap. How did I forget Starship Troopers as well. Now that's a movie to watch again and again. Starship Troopers...I thought that movie was really bad right up to the ending...but when they stole the ending right from an old "Star Trek" episode I just screamed, "OH GIMME A BREAK AND MY MONEY BACK!" The movie "Shinning Through" (1992) with Michael Douglas...another terrible movie. I went to see it under serious protest. I was in college and there was girl I really wanted to go out with and she said she'd go out with me but she really wanted to see this movie. So I agreed to it (figured the movie couldn't be that bad...was I wrong)....she was a real pain in the neck and so stuck up. During the ending Michael Douglas is carrying Melaine Griffith across the border to Switzerland. (And what passed for the Swiss border was a white line painted on some rocks and a tower). Anyway the Germans shoot him in the back and just as he falls he falls forward and she lands across the line. I stood up and yelled, "TOUCHDOWN!" The theater started cracking up and the guys around me....we all started high-fiving and screaming. Needless to say there was no 2nd date...and I can't say I was upset. The funniest thing with the movie is that they BLATANTLY steal scenes from the old Battlestar Galatica series (the only good F/X in this movie). I also love the golf carts that they modified and drove around in. To quote Crow " Be careful this may reach a speed of 3". Oh and the "hero" is a guy who rolls around and likes to scream in the movie. God, I miss MST3K.
Brave
St. Elmo's Fire (Embrassing to admit) GI Jane (Universally panned, but I liked it, so sue me) The Breakfast Club (Even more embarrassing to admit!) The Specialist (I hate Stallone, but i watch this every time I flip around and see it on)

Matt [Redskins Fan]
I hate to say it, but favorite bad movie is National Lampoon's Vegas Vacation. B movie would be Army of Darkness.

Bang
Well, let's see. First off how could I forget GYMKATA Former Olympian Kurt Thomas performing martial arts gymnastics... Thankfully for the hero, whenever any bad ninja guys are around so is a pommel horse or a set of parallel bars so he can do his nifty moves. On the Hilarity Scale, I give it a solid 9. Next, the carrot monster was "It Conquered The World!" A God-awful movie.. yes,, this thing flew down and holed up in a cave and only came out a few times. As you can see, IT was about 5 feet tall. How IT managed to conquer the world, I'll never know. And last, Rincewind, don't think you slid that one by. ~Bang

I keep thinking about getting it on DVD...then when I decide to get it I am somehow short on finances...I may just go-ahead and do the "sensible" thing...ask for it for my birthday! Agreed Bang on the hillarity scale it rates a solid 9. I was 15 when it came out and even then I thought, "There aren't enough wine coolers (Like I said I was 15 and it was the 80's...please don't tell the people at MENSA about this) in the world to make me drunk enough to go see that." That's because Bruce Willis and Steve Buschemi make up for it. I can't believe that no on has mentioned my all time favorite BAD movie. KUNG POW: Enter the Fist! That movie is HILARIOUS!!! SUNSTONE
Of course, when it was first released Star Wars was considered a B movie, so if that's allowed I'll go with that. I don't know for sure. But I am going to disagree with that statement. I think people may have thought it was going to be a cheezy Battlestar Galacta(sp?) or something like that. But once they saw it, they quickly changed their minds. I think it's the 2nd most grossing movie of all time.

SUNSTONE
No great BAD movie list is complete without: WHO'S THE MASTA! I loved this movie! I use to mess around and say "Now when I say who's the master....you say show enough"(not sure what he always said there) One day while playing some online shooter, I said "They call me bruce leeroy!" And someone answered "show enough!" I'm a sucker for almost all kung fu movies.
SUNSTONE
"Better Off Dead". I don't know if that fits into the "bad" movie category or not though. No, this was a big comedy at the time. They made atleast one other this style with John Cusack(sp?) where he skies on that K2 mountain and has that kid chaseing him for 2 dollars. Both are great comedys.
