We've always thought, sooner or later, some insane world leader with a messianic complex would start the big one. Surprise. It looks like its our guy. According to Hersh, he thinks its his special destiny to save us from Iran.

Wacko man has got to be stopped. Apparently, the congress and courts and military honchos will have to get off their cowardly butts.

SONOMA, California - The long, strange trip continues for Jerry Garcia's toilet. Police say the Grateful Dead leader's commode was stolen recently from a driveway along with three other toilets and a bidet, The Press Democrat newspaper reported Saturday.

Garcia's salmon-colored toilet was the subject of a legal battle before it was finally moved to Sonoma, to await shipment to a Canadian casino.

Terrell Owens Rap Song Mistaken For Parody Of Terrell Owens Rap Song!!!

http://www.thebrushback.com/rapsong_full.htm

PHILADELPHIA--Terrell Owens’ new rap song, “I’m Back,” was mistaken for a parody of a Terrell Owens rap song yesterday by a sports talk radio host, who played it during his morning drive show. Mike Heger of ESPN radio in Philadelphia introduced the song as a “hilarious Owens parody,” but was informed by callers that it was actually authentic.

“I found the most hilarious thing today on the internet,” Heger told his listeners yesterday morning. “It’s some guy pretending to be Terrell Owens doing this idiotic rap about the contract he signed and all the money he’s making. He’s like ‘I got 10 mil up front, dog.’ I couldn’t stop laughing. God, imagine if he was this much of a tool in real l life? Now that would be funny.”

After the track finished playing, Heger had a hard time controlling his laughter.

Quote;

The adviser warned that bombing Iran could provoke "a chain reaction" of attacks on American facilities and citizens throughout the world and might also reignite Hezbollah.

"If we go, the southern half of

Iraq will light up like a candle," the adviser is quoted as telling The New Yorker.

All the more reason to wipe them out at the same time.

All due respect Sarge, and I can't believe I'm about to say this, but Crazyhorse posted his thread first. We just didn't take him seriously because....well...we never do.

 ;) j/k

You don't take him seriously? Did you ever see his pic in the "Show yourself" thread?

I have to say, that the title is a bit misleading. When people use the term nuclear war, or "the big one" the more rational people think of ICBM's strikeing cities around the world on both sides of the fight. Mass destruction with no real winner.

This story implies that the use of small, limited nukes would be the case. Even so, I would rather nothing be done right now. I don't see us having the manpower to fight on so many fronts, unless we bring back the draft, lower arms production costs, bump up production, and go at it.

Of course, we're not allowed to fight on the same terms as our foes, keeping the highest moral standards at all times, so what's the sense.......

Come to think of it, what's the sense of posting something logical in this thread

Man, if we only had done the nutron bomb thing....................

How come when the articles I have read say, and this is paraphrasing here '1 of the options Bush was presented with involved nukes'. This was in both articles I read on the subject. Basicly it states that it is being kept as an option not that he is planning on doing it.

People want to jump to conclusions based upon their prejudices about this administration. Frankly if they don't think anything else is going to wipe out their nuclear facilities then the tactical nukes have to at least be given thought and possibly held as a plan of last resort. Nukes should always be a last resort, but they should never be in the "never an option" catagory. The initial use of nuclear weapons was a tactical decision that saved hundreds of thousands of lives, both american and Japanese. I know that thousands of lives were lost but it was estimated that the american casualties alone that would have occured in the invasion of Japan would have totaled more than 1 million, and that's not to mention how many of them would have died also.

Nuclear weapons in this case should only be used if it is determined that the amount of lives saved will equal a number 10 times greater than those killed or higher.

I find this whole Bush starting nuclear strikes/war thing a bit hypocritical. I never understood why we could hold nukes and threaten people with them but these other countries can't.

I understand that people will say "Because Iran is crazy. They will destroy everything in sight if they have nukes." Maybe so. But I always thought you lead by example. Maybe if we and other powers disarmed they might, too.

Whatever though. I'm prepared that eventually someone is going to destroy the world. Hopefully after the Eagles win at least won Supe.

It is hypocritical, but in this case it's hypocrisy in our own best interest. Nuclear weapons are a pandora's box that has been opened so we can't hide them away and pretend we never learned how, but hopefully we (the world) can show enough restraint to never use them again.
