Pet Sounds is a great album, definitely the Beach Boys best. God Only Knows is one of the best songs by them, IMHO. I would also add the following to my earlier list: REM - Life's Rich Pageant, Document The Wonderstuff - Never Loved Elvis Toad the Wet Sprocket - Fear Morrissey - Viva Hate Dada - Puzzle Material Issue - International Pop Overthrow

Robert Johnson - Revolutionary Chuck Berry - Revolutionary Jimi Hendrix - Revolutionary EVH - Revolutionary Randy Rhodes - Revolutionary Aretha Frankin - Revolutionary RunDMC - Revolutionary DrDre - Revolutionary Metallica - Revolutionary The Beach Boys? no.. Different strokes dude if you like them great, but acting as if they are the end all be all of music is itself idiotic. I never said my favorite was the beginning and the end.
