fdarugar
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/stats?playerId=1189 Had a pretty good career up until last season...he could be a possibility. Might wanna change the thread title.
#1SkinsFan
he was awesome in the prime of his career, but got hurt and didnt play at all last year. This year he got benched, but played minimally in all 16 games. He only had 9 tackles and 2 sacks. He would be a good back-up, but is getting up there in age (32 yrs old, 9 year pro). wordikin
With Baltimore releasing him why don't we take a look at bringing him down the beltway on an incentive laden contract
HOF44
dcsmooth... thanks for posting, but you might want to change the thread title to "Peter Boulware is Available... thoughts?" or something similar. And also post it in around the nfl section. Good info though.
terpfan
A little old for my tastes, but he is a decent option I guess.
gutlead74
aaahh the boulware brothers of spring valley HS here in columbia....vet min..come on down
Skinfan56
I didnt realize carlos hall was out there, he wouldn't be bad for a backup and could potentially be a starter in a year or so, he did well when he had kearse on the other side, maybe the same effect with andre carter. He just turned 27 in January and would probably come pretty cheap.
CRobi21
He'd be a nice fill in until D'Qwell is ready to fill in. Woot
TD Riggo
As a lifelong Gator, PLEASE .. **NO** Florida State players!
the burgundy and gold
hes old... but still a good blitzer, i dont no how good he is in coverage. But i would pass on him due to age
The Batman
Yeah, I'd consider him. He's an interesting prospect, dominant in the peak of his career, but he's a little old at this stage. I'd probably pass. :logo:
gutlead74
As a lifelong Gator, PLEASE .. **NO** Florida State players! you have a point i mean look at all of the great gators that have played 4 the skins......shane matthew, wuerful, taylor jacobs, etc.....oh yeah i think we had a ball coach from there once it was to tuff for him so he ran back to college with his tail between his legs:doh:
CPstretch
if this was like 4 years ago i'd say go get him...but he is older and has had some injuries so i'd say pass on him.
Slateman
He he he, I did a search before posting *self props* I'd like to have him for depth. I mean, right now, is there someone better we could have at the same reasonable price? Maybe Jamie Sharper?
Jimbo
Vet minimum plus incentives? C'mon, SOMEBODY had to say it. Actually, I don't know that he'd be any worse than Holdman but he's been hurt a lot the past couple of years so I wonder how he'd hold up.
Enter Apotheosis
He'd be an improvement over Holdman but at this point he isn't anywhere near as good as he was a few years ago. My guess is that he'd still try to reel in a big contract based on past performance from some other team out there.
PotomacSkinsFan
no, this would be a deion or carrier signing. keep them sub-30: cowart is better than boulware if we want a 30+ guy.
Brown_Hornet
He had a down year b/c Baltimore went back to the 4-3. Boulware is a 3-4 WIL. The Skins run the 4-3 as well. He's a bad fit.
Phixius
It wouldnt surprise me if Cleveland picks him up before we have the oppurtunity to contact him.
