Huly
Oh, your Gibbs was definitely a highlight! He even posed for the cameras - what a ham:silly: Everyone loved him! Can you see Coach telling Pat - "there was even a dog in his Redskins gear! Great idea to cross the street to the other side by the bus door! My hound is not shy at all! He loves the camera, people etc! He does a lot of Basset Hound Rescue events and Basset Hound educational events because of his personality. He is a ham! cactitle
Just my own little recap of today. Arrived there expecting not being able to park at Redskins Park. Thought we'd have to park outside. They let us in though and the fans started to gather. Probably in the neighborhood of close to 50 showed up. Signs were out, interviews were being done, dogs were sniffing each others butts. One bus passes by and we proceed to go wild only to be disappointed it was not the skins. Motorcade is approaching, police lights flashing, then the moment of truth. First bus approaches and stops in front of the fans. Players can be seen inside the tinted glass windows smiling and waving. Gibbs gets off the bus, approaches the fans and says something along the lines of he appreciates the fans being there in the cold weather and it meant alot to him and the team. He gets in the bus as the crowd begins singing Hail to the Redskins to the waving smiling players as they proceed to leave. People head for the warmth of their cars with pride in their hearts and a great experience. Hail to the Redskins!

SkinsNumberOne
Thanks for posting the pics! I had a camera, but saw that there were better cameras around and I had that sign anyway. Thanks again to the dude with the posterboard and markers- very cool of you to bring supplies for those of us who kind of were able to come at the last minute. Gibbs coming out of the bus was awesome. It really shows the difference between our coach and a lot of other coaches (hm, I don't think Billy P would be doing that, do you?). He truly appreciates the fans. I think this time around he is more sensitive than the last time. Pretty awesome. Good seeing you all out there. Lead Blocker
It was great! Channel 7 and 9 was there interviewing fans. JG got off the bus and thanked everyone. When he saw my hound Gibbs his eyes got big and he started pointing and smiling! Huly, For the first time, Gibbs was probably overheard saying: "That's my dawg, That's my dawg." That's great. Lead Blocker
I flew in this morning to attend.I was interviewed by channel 7 and 9 because I came from TEXAS to see the Skins off. Lots of people there.......it was COLD!! It was 81 in Texas this week. I almost froze!! Coach Gibbs shook my hand. He seemed so excited. The players seemed happy we were there. I was lucky enough to talk wtih Gary Fitzgerald. He spoke highly of Extremeskins. Knew who some of our posters were. It was an awesome experience. Blondie That's fantastic Blondie I'm glad everyone had a great experience. Leaving your warm environment to come to our icebox... you get extra credit.
