  1. Im not a huge fan of Baker, but this makes the swapped 2nd + 2 3rds we gave up for Wentz seem like a terrible deal. Picking up Baker for a 4th or 5th would have been a much better get. Ron & Co. definitely make some head-scratcher decisions when it comes to asset management.
  2. I live in Richmond and went to TC a bunch of times over the years. They always asked people to register online, but I maybe once had a ticket actually checked at entry. They generally always just checked bags and let people roll on in. The one TC session they did actually check tickets for was the joint practice with NE a few years back. TB coming to town really brought in decent sized extra segment of thirsty ladies lol.
  3. He's a power back with just enough wiggle to keep things interesting. I'm really looking forward to watching this guy play...he's got a great skillset to compliment Gibson + McKissic.
  4. With training camp just a few weeks away, I do wonder if he left Tanya back in Ashburn to tend to team business while he's on the lamb. Snyd-dog rolling stag on the yacht with the boys is probably a sight to see. Damn good culture kind of stuff. #iworkwithprettypeople
  5. Does that include having an owner literally hiding on his yacht in a foreign country to avoid a congressional subpoena? Because all joking aside, he is actually making the right moves to avoid accountability.
  6. Right? Talk about a guy who comes across as desperately wanting people to like him, respect him, and think he's a "cool guy". Being publicly crapped on the way he is is absolutely inflicting some degree of narcissistic injury on him...which i very much enjoy the thought of.
  7. I think this logic falls apart because it's in no way a 1:1 comparison. There are just too many variables from year to year. Every team in the league has changed to some degree...personel, player development or decline, depth charts, coaches, schemes, etc. In my opinion, it's just not as simple as "twice the QB = twice the wins".
  8. The time when it was acceptable to comment on a coworkers physical attractiveness in a corporate work environment is long since gone. And, given the fact that it was posted literally as testimony concerning the team's years-long history of sexual impropriety was taking place, almost makes it seem like they're purposely trolling the victims, fans, and house reps. who feel their boss, Snyder, should be held to account. Either that, or they're legit just out of touch enough to post #iworkwithprettypeople during congressional testimony about the sexual abuse of their coworkers.
  9. The fact that they posted the picture with the hash tag #iworkwithprettypeople...while the team is literally simultaneously being dragged through congress for rampant sexual impropriety in the workplace is stupid and tone-deaf, and just ridiculous.
  10. WJ3 as CB1 and Juice as CB3 both make me nervous. Juice got picked on badly in his limited appearances on D last year...dude can make a nice open field tackle, but got straight abused in coverage. WJ3 just looked lost sometimes, and maybe that was down to the communication issues you mentioned. But, he hasn't exactly inspired confidence in holding down that CB1 spot.
  11. This is pure conjecture...but, I don't think Terry wants to be here longterm. Any player with options, short of WAS absolutely breaking the bank for them, probably wouldn't want to burn the prime of their career on this team.
  12. Not really sure how much Dan is bringing to the swinging contest...pretty sure he's working with one of those mushroom-is-shorter-than-the-grass style micro-penis's.
  13. At least they're getting paid and living out the dream of playing in the NFL. I find myself more often wondering what is the point for any fan to devote themselves to this team. Other than being a glutton for punishment, of course.
  14. To me, this seems like it's most likely the sticking point in negotiations. Even if the money is close, Terry -- who is by all accounts a good dude with a level-head -- may just not want to want to stick around and spend the bulk of his career, including his prime years physically and for earning, on this team. I know I wouldn't. Just like Cousins and Scherff, Terry may have his agent working on the most profitable possible exit from WAS, not signing a LTD with this team.
  15. I don't know about "no way" he plays on his current deal this year. Seems like there's at least a chance that he and the team don't reach an agreement, they still don't want to trade him, he holds out, and then plays the minimum number of games this season to get credit for the year. Sure, there's financial risk involved for him. But, if he's dead-set on a specific contract size or leaving WAS -- and willing to bet on himself -- that's at least a plausible maneuver.
  16. He def would have...there are jack-shacks all over the place in nova. At least that's what a friend told me.
  17. I recently saw some folks referring to the rally towels as "com rags" and liked that very much.
  18. As an intellectually mature young man he may also decide that can still make millions in the NFL, while also making moves to put himself in a position to find success greater than his personal stat line. If he's intent on finding the best/shortest path to ring, that certainly ain't here. He could also just be tired of being associated with the drama and disfunction that comes with multiple sexual abuse scandals and financial malfeasance from ownership -- and is set on not resigning to this dumpster fire of a team where he has to play for a piece of human garbage like Snyder. Personally, and I hope I'm wrong, I'm feeling like we see Terry play on the tag for 2 years and then move on the greener pastures.
  19. To yet again be made to feel like Charlie Brown kicking a FG when all is said and done.
  20. Now I'm imagining Terry's agent pulling a power move and grumping out a log on the negotiating table to secure his client the $25-million per year he deserves.
  21. Like everyone, I hope Terry signs a LTD. But, If I'm Terry's agent, I'm playing hardball and asking WAS for like $25-mil per year to stick around...somewhere between AJ Brown and Tyreek Hill money. If the team balks, fine. Take the Cousins/Scherff route and play on the tag for 2-years and then move on to greener pastures. That's the playbook for maxing out compensation here and parlaying that into a big payday somewhere that isn't a ****-show. If his agent isn't at least presenting that as an option to Terry, he isn't doing his job.
  22. For it to play out something like Charlie Brown lining up for a field goal. You know, the usual.
  23. No doubt Terry's agent is thinking the same thing. He's seen the playbook on maxing out compensation from this team and getting a client to a big FA payday. Even if Terry's wants to be back, his agent isn't doing his job if he's not pushing this to some degree.
  24. Its definitely surprising that he had $48 million just lying around...but it sounds like that is the case. Quoted from the article: "The home sold for $48 million in an all-cash transaction in late October." https://alexandrialivingmagazine.com/home-and-garden/washington-commanders-owner-dan-snyder-buys-60-million-alexa/
