  1. I love Jahan now that he's on the team and we've seen he can ball, but was shocked when we traded out of a position to draft an absolute blue-chip S. Even though the trade down netted us Robinson, it still seems like a bad move given how fungible RBs are in today's NFL.
  2. Bezos would be my first choice because he has the deepest pockets and other business ventures whose complexity, success, and revenue absolutely dwarf anything WAS football related. I actually think a "non-sports" owner who can stay out of the way and let the experts they hire do their thing would be ideal...basically, the anti-Dan. I just have a hunch that the owner-prospects with existing sports ties are more likely to meddle.
  3. Dude got got with a legit titty-twister from DeSean Jackson during practice...I don't know that I've seen many coaches less respected by the players than Gruden. Absolutely, hardest of hard passes.
  4. Agreed that some folks, like Shanny Jr. or McVay, are clearly talented and had a leg-up getting into the game at a young age. That said, Rivera's kids titles are "Social Media Producer" and "Sr. Manager of Special Projects"...which both just reek of being do-nothing jobs that were gift-wrapped for them by daddy. JDR's son at least has a history in the game as a college QB to justify his coaching position.
  5. The whole league is kind of an experiment in nepotism. This team also employs JDR's son and two of Rivera's kids...and I'd be willing bet there were more qualified candidates for those positions.
  6. For as long as Frank and Sonny worked together, it just seems crazy to straight up snub Herzog...in my opinion he should 100%, at the very least, be an invited guest. My tinfoil-hat, completely made-up, totally BS theory is that since Herzog was pushed out of the booth in favor of Larry Micheal -- Snyder's well-known best-good perv-buddy -- this was simply a chance for Snyder to take a parting cheap-shot at a guy he never really liked. Which, seems very on-brand.
  7. Class-act...also smart and self-aware. TH is showing exactly what you want out of your backup qb...a guy who can come in and play as needed, but isn't primarily invested in auditioning himself for a potential future starting job. To me, that "team 1st" mentality is vital for a backup QB. We've seen guys like Colt McCoy play themselves into very nice contracts as unquestioned backups. I'd like to see that happen for TH over the latter part of his playing career.
  8. I liked that the unveiling of Tuddy hit like a wet fart...seemed oddly appropriate for this franchise.
  9. You would hope that 2 billionaires could do better than "anti-faux mall-ninja jerk" and "serial-philanderer jerk" as the main themes of a bio-brief. But, here they are lol. Sadly, still preferable to Danny-boy.
  10. Please...dear god no. Dude is an incompetent clown and a bad liar who is tits deep in nearly every embarrassing screw up this team has made during his tenure. In my opinion, his head should be the 1st to roll after Danny-boy's exit.
  11. Dude in the background getting caught smirking at Dan making an ass of himself cracks me up every time. Anyone know who that is?
  12. Looks like Baker Mayfield is being released...waiver claim? I would have taken him over Wentz this offseason, but the timing was off. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/panthers-to-release-baker-mayfield-after-seven-games-with-team-former-no-1-overall-pick-subject-to-waivers/#:~:text=The Carolina Panthers are moving, will be subject to waivers.
  13. WFT was such a weird ****ization of what you see in soccer with F.C. added to the city name of the team. It didn't really make sense for an NFL team, but it was still 1000x better than Com***ders.
  14. I'd love to see this team on Hard Knocks as well. I know teams with a new head coach are also exempt...I wonder if that also extends to new ownership?
  15. Basic maintenance, probably. It's indicative of a facility in a serious state of disrepair. To allow the stadium to decay to a degree that railings are failing in their designed purpose is insanely irresponsible and shows a real lack of regard for fan safety. Now, we know the organization doesn't care about fans and the fan experience, so in that way I get it. But, you'd think someone would be smart enough to realize it's clear negligence and a lawsuit just waiting to happen.
  16. They almost have to considering what an unmitigated disaster the whole Com***ders rebrand has been. If I'm Bezos (or, whoever), I'm clearing it with the league as a condition for purchasing the team. Com***ders will ALWAYS have the stink of Snyder on it. Even if we make the playoffs under that name, it's got to go.
  17. Wentz absolutely has a cannon...but I think his advantage there over TH is pretty much offset by the deficiency between his ears.
  18. I'd rather take a chance on a promising if under-qualified up-and-comer over a literal dinosaur like JDR. Dude hasn't even served this team well enough to be retained as DC, let alone promoted to HC.
  19. I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. Please....dear god, no. We're trying to become a respectable organization here.
  20. I love that this is all happening so fast...4-6 mos. is nothing. We'll be tracking Bezos and Jay-Zs private jets flying around courting free agents in no time.
  21. You're correct...but i think even the "smaller" sum to option the land was like $100 mil.
  22. Pretty funny that Dan wasted his money on that awful patch of land in Dumfries.
  23. If I remember correctly, Pash was also Bruce's good buddy...and, there are leaked email exchanges between the two making fun of league diversity efforts and scheming ways around league fines.
  24. If I'm looking at those contract details right, he's due $15 mil. next year. For his level of play, I can't see any team wanting to take that on.
  25. Looks like he's going to be calling plays for TH with Wentz breaking his finger. That alone should force him to change things up. That said, Turner will probably still suck at OC whoever is lined up under center.
