Raftery and Hill made a good point. Florida and Duke’s back to backs were teams with the same nucleus and stars. This UConn team is a lot different than last year’s. Very impressive with how dominate and balanced they were.

No, I understand that in your scenario that state would vote Red. My understanding is that the current makeup of the House would lead to a 26-24 vote Red. But the elected 2024 House would be the one that would do the voting. Will it flop to 25-25, and if so, what would be the tiebreaker was my question. @The Evil Genius’ link explains it. But it doesn’t say what happens if the Senate is 50-50 and can’t elect a VP. I guess it’s speaker of the house?

If there is no one with 270 EVs, it goes to Congress, but it goes to the 2024 elected Congress. Currently the states are 26-24 Red. What happens if they are 25-25 after the election? I don’t see RFKJr getting any EVs, but am fascinated about the scenario.

It really is. I remember at the beginning of the season, the talk was Isiah Collier (USC G) and Ron Holland (G League) at the top of the draft. They may not even be lottery picks and it’s not because other guys are really shooting up the boards. Reed Shephard being mocked at #3. Really? Cody Williams? Gets shut out in the play in game. Filopowski gets dominated by Burns in the tournament. Of the college guys, I really like Shannon, but he has some legal red flags. Clingan is showing that he can stretch out. I like him, but see him as a strong supporting guy, not a star. FWIW, I’m really bad at predicting how prospects will turn out. 😂

Yeah, it’s safe around the stadium for the most part. There’s a place right across from the metro exit called the bullpen. Drinks, food trucks. That’s pregame mostly. Walter’s is a good bar right outside the stadium, with a few other places on that block.

Alabama played great. And still lost by double digits. If Purdue’s PG plays like he did today, UConn by 20+.

Whew. I had Purdue by 11.5 and NC State jacked up that meaningless shot there at the end.

It sucks because you want to see UConn take a shot there, but it definitely knocked 24 off of 5. There was a successful switch, but I think the ref is taking too much heat from ESPN.

You definitely hear in the media that credit card balances are rising. But, as you mention timeframes, this is coming in after credit card balances dropped in late 2020 and 2021 with COVID stimulus. I’ll try to find some time to dig into @bearrock’s link.
