    Yes. My in-laws signed up that day around 1:30. They were contacted on Tuesday to make an appointment. So they should be towards the end of that day soon I’d imagine. There were 42k signups on the 18th and like 8k on the next day. It’s frustrating, but they are working through it. The county claims to have vaccinated over 150k so far which is about twice the state and country rates.

    From the little I know of him, he seems like the exact opposite of the type of player Rivera wants to bring in. I’d rather get the next Ioannidis, Settle, Holcomb, Hudson with that fifth rounder.

    Staying healthy to care for your children is huge. Also, from what I’ve read, it sounds like the evidence is starting to show that those vaccinated are less likely to spread the virus. In FFX Co, they are still processing the day 1 sign ups for 1b. My in-laws will have their first shots by the weekend.

    I think it’s pretty clear that if any team violates the cap, then Washington will be penalized. At least, that’s what Mara will do.

    I think it’s fine to take him at 51 instead of worrying about trading back up.

    If that’s the case, would they keep both in the bullpen? They need to keep some guys stretched out in AAA. I don’t think either would make it through waivers.

    Do Voth and/or Fedde have options? Ssems like the bullpen has good potential. I’d like to see Martinez be flexible with the closer spot. For example, if Freeman is due up in the eighth, I’d rather have him come in with Hand and have Rainey/Hudson/Harrispitch the ninth.

    We enrolled our child into public kindergarten this year. If we had the benefit of hindsight, we would have explored private alternatives. As she gets older, I do expect that her class will be much smaller than the one behind her. Hopefully that benefits her when it comes to applying to college, less competition. Would be a small silver lining to this mess.

    I registered on 1/22. (1b). I got a similar email. However I believe more people registered on 1/18 (first day) than on 1/19-1/22 combined. I’ll be concerned if they are still working on 1/18 registrations this time next week.

    I don’t get to watch too many games, but this announcing crew is really not good. Gooden seems like a good guy, but their announcing is a bit cringeworthy. The PBP guy is tough to listen to.

    Did you those two guys almost get in a fight on the sidelines? That was the turning point. They were lights out from 3 to start the second half, but took their foot off the gas.

    Kirksey could be a good solution. Wagner doesn’t do anything for me. I’m not really on board the sign an OT train when we have four on our roster and there are good options in the first three rounds. That’s not where I’d spend money.
