I think at minimum I would mandate that new business/stores that open on the toll road moving forward would have to adhere to a seven-day standard, and that would include new CFAs.

The Game Prediction Thread - Week 16 - The Commanders @ The Jets
FootballZombie replied to zCommander's topic in The Stadium
It will all come down to which D can produce more short fields, and I'm pretty sure the Jets D will produce a lot. Even more so without 2 of our O-Linemen. Is the Jets kicker good? -
I'd think if he is off the ballet due to disqualification: Some R's would stay home. Some R's would vote for the on ballot candidates. Some R's would show up and write in Trump... which would be meaningless and a waste of a vote. I gotta imagine some voters who were only motivated to stop Trump and not necessarily vote Dem likely stay home too. End result: Republican presidential votes would be monumentally fractured. Probably a bit of a down tick in Democratic voting too. Overall greatly favors Dems.

The Game Prediction Thread - Week 16 - The Commanders @ The Jets

Their D is gonna put the clamps on us something fierce. We are gonna be punting a lot. Their O wont have to put up much. Just enough to withstand our end game spurt after the game is 90% decided. I think we lose this one... even with their rancid QB play. Their run game will pull them to a TD and a couple FGs... plus their D likely causes us to bake several apple turnovers... -

I don't see EB getting a HC gig offa this. On top of the on the field stuff the current players don't vibe with him either, and that will propagate as well. I can see him getting some Rooney Rule invites tho. End of the day I don't really care. He is not good here, and I don't want him here bringing his same brand of fail to the next administration when we are so uniquely positioned for a clean break and a fresh start. If someone else sees something in him and wants to give him a shot, let them. I've seen nothing from him that is more valuable than his departure and the clean slate that vacuum creates. So many outlets were directly blaming Ron for that. lol Was he supposed to just take over the O or something. -

Man am I pulling hard for Ariz. I know they got enough juice to squeeze out a dub somewhere. -

That's a pick, but he likely never gets it without bumping into his own guy. -

Seattle fooling around on the sideline but Philly is handling biz-ness so far. -

Lock showed up on that last drive. Couple of dots. -
I don't think its odd. He is becoming exactly what was forced upon him. He is the team. No Defense, no Oline, no run game, no assistive playcalling, no special teams. We are what Sam can pull outta his butt cheeks. We spend the year demanding our young and impressionable QB be Superman in order for us to have a ghost of a chance. Now every play has to be the best possible version of itself. Sam is increasingly displaying the negative tendencies that come from that. That includes forced throws in the form of cross body jump passes back into the field of play while running full speed in the opposite direction... because if Sam does not make a play who will? Who else is even allowed to? They Ramsy'd the heck outta this kid. Hopefully he is not to far gone and can reel it back. Sam can look at the tape and realize he is doing too much and hopefully his coaches can stop gameplanning the superman cape on his shoulders.

Not just FA. It will impact the type of coaches I may want to lure in too.

I think the biggest factor for me is where we end up picking. If we can get 2/3 and we also like 2/3 of the upcoming QBs, I like going QB because you can build your offseason around it. If we pick 4 or below, sure you could still get a QB, but you are taking a risk building your FA period around the idea. You kinda gotta take a more open approach to hedge your bets. Rough situation until we know how the year pans out. We could end up picking 6th for all we know.

The man was straight up sacrificed to the football Gods I've been rolling out the dang near assured scenario of Sam getting Ramsey'd or injured and explaining exactly how/why it was gonna happen since week 2. What we did to Sam was malpractice. Instead of throwing a dude over the side of a boat with an anchor tied to his leg we should have been focused on cultivation and development. I would not want any coach on this roster near my developing QB in the future.

None of our backs not named Gibby have shown to have the hands to reliably catch a pass 30 yards downfield. Not even B-Rob. Unless that is G-Money, dude was not a real option. That would have been comparable to Mahomes throwing a pass to K. Toney. And I agree with BFS, if there was meat being consistently left on the bone we would see it every week, just like the examples above. Instead we are seeing the opposite with constant reminders of how players are not getting open with bad separation scores or how this team has some of the highest "perfectly covered rate" plays in the NFL.
