  1. Thank you G-men. What a Bye week. You could not buy a much better slate of results
  2. Giants tried to choke away that lead w/ a special teams boo-boo but held GB to a FG. Really hoping they pull thru and get the dub. Love's accuracy today is about as bad as I've seen from an NFL QB. Its so bad there has to be something wrong w/ him.
  3. I'd imagine Trump's phone data can be used to corroborate the surrounding witness' testimony about what Trump was doing on J6.
  4. Good googly Levis has some terrible self-preservation. Taking BOMBS
  5. Apparently it was Ohtani's idea to help the Dodger build a better team around him... Still don't sit right in the craw.
  6. The vast majority of these HOF QBs that stunk early and turned it around were afforded the opportunity to do that because they were high cost assets that the team would do everything in their power to try and turn a profit on. Look at Bryce Young. Dude has been pretty much trash this year, but there is 99% the Panthers roll him out next year regardless. Howell does not fit into that category. He does not have the luxury of putting up Bryce Young numbers and be handed subsequent seasons (he is not doing that, just saying he can't). Peyton, Troy and Bryce can.
  7. I don't think its a coincidence that we hear more about wanting to get the RFK site right when season ticket renewals start. Nice bit-o gamesmanship going on there.
  8. TH got a 46 when asked to do virtually nothing. Howell is getting a 48 when asked to carry the entire team. Directly comparing the grades from one guy doing a test on fractions while the other guy is in advanced trig is not a good representation of how close these players are to each other. Howell's 48 might as well be separated by the Grand Canyon in comparison to TH's 46. Man, I do not like comparing QBs w/ QBR. All of their jobs are different. You can not directly compare the efficiency of a QB who is asked to simply protect the ball and ride in the backseat with someone who has to push the pace and take risks because they are the entirety of the O. Same argument for why Wentz QBR w/ the Colts was unimpressive to me, even if it was one of the higher scores in the NFL at the time.
  9. I don't see why we can't hire a good amount of new scouts b4 the draft, as long as your pulling from the already employed pool. New scouts would simply bring their previous experience with this upcoming draft class with them. They are not exactly starting from scratch. It would only expand our current database of knowledge. Doubly-that if there are specific early targets you want heavily evaluated. If you had interest in (purely for example people) Maye, and you know the Giants have been going full-court-press on the guy, swiping a guy off their staff could greatly increase your understanding of the player.
  10. Aaron Donald might win this game by himself. Man is gonna shred our interior like tissue paper. Not looking forward to that.
  11. I'd say the advent of the mobile QBs, especially in the college level, has greatly changed how OLs are taught, developed and greatly changes the play-by-play opportunities for practice and growth they face. Back when 99% of QBs were statues, the OLs job was much more straightforward and there were things that a blocker could set his watch to in regards to what was going on behind him, which makes controlling whats in front of you easier.
  12. Jets D is gonna pound us into paste. I'm so unconcerned about potentially winning that game
  13. I have no faith in the Bears ability to keep this up
  14. The Eagles just took a proactive approach. Every season the teams with the high cost QBs will restructure their leading man's deal to create more space. Barely any QB that costs a ton gets what they are scheduled to get. Its how business is done now to account for massive deals at QB.
  15. Those highlight packages for Daniels are awesome. First time really getting a look at him. - Either his posture is incredible or I question the height of his oline. Dude looks so tall in the pocket. - Even in those little snippets I can see what others are pulling about those big collisions he takes tho. He has the exact same runner's mentality as Howell where he aint going down until someone makes him go down. Little easier to get away w/ that in college. -Speed kills tho -Capable of unlimited pressure on a D. Gotta be a good adjustable playcallers' dream.
  16. It is really tough to be a hard-A coach when you have nothing to your name and are doing a job you have never done before. He is pretty much asking for blind subservience and he has diddly squat to fall back on outside of telling Andy Reid opponent tendencies. You gotta earn relationships in the NFL. And now that we don't have results in the season, he has even less ground to stand on.
