  1. We could stitch Paul and Charles together and send 'em both out there and my money is still on Arron Donald. Man is gonna get to pick his ice cream toppings this week.
  2. If you hand a new regime a premium draft pick that puts them in position to guarantee a specific QB or two there is no way they don't evaluate the heck outta the upcoming QB class. If we walk into the offseason with pick 2 or 3, you can know 100% that at least one of the high end QBs will be there for the taking when you get to podium. That gives you the opportunity to build your offseason around a draft QB if desired, no guesswork required. That does not mean we go the draft QB route, but we would for sure be popping into every major QB pro Day.
  3. Maybe that is part of the pasta sauce as to why the bears both traded for and immediately signed Sweat.
  4. Personally I trust Donny the pretzel vendor in section 301 like my barber. He always has that extra half-step in the 4th Qtr when everybody else is slowin' down. Gotta respect that level of conviction and commitment.
  5. Henry should have planted down at the 1. take the 1s down, not the TD
  6. Thank you G-men. What a Bye week. You could not buy a much better slate of results
  7. Giants tried to choke away that lead w/ a special teams boo-boo but held GB to a FG. Really hoping they pull thru and get the dub. Love's accuracy today is about as bad as I've seen from an NFL QB. Its so bad there has to be something wrong w/ him.
  8. I'd imagine Trump's phone data can be used to corroborate the surrounding witness' testimony about what Trump was doing on J6.
  9. Good googly Levis has some terrible self-preservation. Taking BOMBS
  10. Apparently it was Ohtani's idea to help the Dodger build a better team around him... Still don't sit right in the craw.
  11. The vast majority of these HOF QBs that stunk early and turned it around were afforded the opportunity to do that because they were high cost assets that the team would do everything in their power to try and turn a profit on. Look at Bryce Young. Dude has been pretty much trash this year, but there is 99% the Panthers roll him out next year regardless. Howell does not fit into that category. He does not have the luxury of putting up Bryce Young numbers and be handed subsequent seasons (he is not doing that, just saying he can't). Peyton, Troy and Bryce can.
  12. I don't think its a coincidence that we hear more about wanting to get the RFK site right when season ticket renewals start. Nice bit-o gamesmanship going on there.
  13. TH got a 46 when asked to do virtually nothing. Howell is getting a 48 when asked to carry the entire team. Directly comparing the grades from one guy doing a test on fractions while the other guy is in advanced trig is not a good representation of how close these players are to each other. Howell's 48 might as well be separated by the Grand Canyon in comparison to TH's 46. Man, I do not like comparing QBs w/ QBR. All of their jobs are different. You can not directly compare the efficiency of a QB who is asked to simply protect the ball and ride in the backseat with someone who has to push the pace and take risks because they are the entirety of the O. Same argument for why Wentz QBR w/ the Colts was unimpressive to me, even if it was one of the higher scores in the NFL at the time.
