  1. I don't see why we can't hire a good amount of new scouts b4 the draft, as long as your pulling from the already employed pool. New scouts would simply bring their previous experience with this upcoming draft class with them. They are not exactly starting from scratch. It would only expand our current database of knowledge. Doubly-that if there are specific early targets you want heavily evaluated. If you had interest in (purely for example people) Maye, and you know the Giants have been going full-court-press on the guy, swiping a guy off their staff could greatly increase your understanding of the player.
  2. Aaron Donald might win this game by himself. Man is gonna shred our interior like tissue paper. Not looking forward to that.
  3. I'd say the advent of the mobile QBs, especially in the college level, has greatly changed how OLs are taught, developed and greatly changes the play-by-play opportunities for practice and growth they face. Back when 99% of QBs were statues, the OLs job was much more straightforward and there were things that a blocker could set his watch to in regards to what was going on behind him, which makes controlling whats in front of you easier.
  4. Jets D is gonna pound us into paste. I'm so unconcerned about potentially winning that game
  5. I have no faith in the Bears ability to keep this up
  6. The Eagles just took a proactive approach. Every season the teams with the high cost QBs will restructure their leading man's deal to create more space. Barely any QB that costs a ton gets what they are scheduled to get. Its how business is done now to account for massive deals at QB.
  7. Those highlight packages for Daniels are awesome. First time really getting a look at him. - Either his posture is incredible or I question the height of his oline. Dude looks so tall in the pocket. - Even in those little snippets I can see what others are pulling about those big collisions he takes tho. He has the exact same runner's mentality as Howell where he aint going down until someone makes him go down. Little easier to get away w/ that in college. -Speed kills tho -Capable of unlimited pressure on a D. Gotta be a good adjustable playcallers' dream.
  8. It is really tough to be a hard-A coach when you have nothing to your name and are doing a job you have never done before. He is pretty much asking for blind subservience and he has diddly squat to fall back on outside of telling Andy Reid opponent tendencies. You gotta earn relationships in the NFL. And now that we don't have results in the season, he has even less ground to stand on.
  9. Uhhh... well.... u see... Somebody help me!
  10. Jeeze, Legette can pick 'em up and put em down. He's got it in the name too. I'd love to have that kind of size/speed combo around these parts. That's just fun.
  11. Luckily we can move on from Paul for nothing next year. Dude does not need to be on the roster after the revamp.
  12. Did not expect Pats to get that dub. Bye week is off to an awesome start. #2 overall pick.... Do I dare to hope?
  13. According to that list ESPN has us as a higher on average O line than either PFF or SIS. Can't just go off the score, they all use diff grading scales.
  14. Splashes come in many forms. I'm personally expecting numerous. Its a lot easier to make a move like raising prices when you know you've got something to help move tix coming down the pipe. We are SO getting that new jumbotron.
  15. I thought that too but it looks like current season holders are getting their renewal notification so you gotta roll it out now. This certainly aint gonna help sales, and I think they know that. All the more reason to believe that there are likely several "splashes" in store to help move tix next year
  16. There is entirely too much hand shaking and not enough fat mama jokes going around for my liking. I'm wasting perfectly good popcorn over here.
  17. Not that it should effect the choice, but bringing in a heisman winner, whoever it is, would be huge for an org that has virtually no star power or recognition... We sure could use the bump. Plus it comes w national commercial deals of which our guys get like none.
  18. I want that for everybody. Might be my #1 ask even as someone who has never taken Metro to a game b4. Total gamechanger.
  19. @Skinsinparadise When are you just gonna give up and include your "I'm one of Sam's biggest fans, just saying its OK to question" disclaimer in a signature? Prolly' save you a couple of hours a day. Yup. Griff could do no wrong in 2012. Pretty sure they legit called him "Black Jesus" in the locker room. Wentz was the chosen on early in his career when the dubs were rolling in too. Broncos couldn't get enough of Wilson when they brought him in, after a poor season all we got was info about how separated he was w/ his own personal staff. Now he's ballin and they luv him again. When those wins dry up, so does the luv. As w/ everything, if u ball, nobody cares what u do. You can absolutely be an Aaron Rodgers level douche and psychopath... just be Aaron Rodgers on the field too.
  20. I think that just like w/ Harris, the majority of us are willing to give positive vibes and expectations to a new staff, even sight-unseen. Its a level of organizational hope we didn't really get to have under Snyder. Personally, I'm more than willing to give a new FO and coaching staff excessive amounts of slack, wiggle room or what have you. They get more than a clean slate, w/ many of our faults being pinned to previous regimes.
  21. I sure am. Your welcome to your opinion about it but I view it very much in the same light.
  22. Team captains and leaders have to want to be here. Without that you have nothing. If he wants to move on to greener pastures next year it should be facilitated. Sucks, but you can't have your foundational pieces not invested. It would quickly spread to the rest of the squad.
