One thing I will say about going to the game last week is that 9ers fans tend to scare away Dallas fans. I think I saw 3 Cowboys Js all day, which is by a light year the lowest amount I have seen while attending a game. That won't be the case this week, but it was nice for last week. Another thing I did when I got to my seat was identify Washington fans, and then get a rough tally of how many had actual commanders gear vs wearing their old stuff, just to get an updated idea on how Commanders merch is selling. I was on the away side of the stadium, and I expect that to impact the populace of Commanders v old stuff negatively for the newer brand, but the ratio i saw was honestly 90% old stuff to 10% new. I don't think the new stuff is selling very well.

I ain't betting against Stroud. lol Even if Hou wins I feel like we are sitting pretty going into Sun. We need a loss vs Dal and "3 stars" collected from other games. Saints over ATL would be worth "2 stars". Steelers win (1) + Colts win (1) + Saints win (2) = 4 stars. Overkill. If Colts win we don't need a Saints win per say. We just need one win from NO/GB/LV

I have not personally studied the big 3 but I can say via tangential information I am 99.9% convinced that we should not give up capital to move up to #1 if we pick 2nd and just be happy with the QB that falls into our lap. I like all 3 lotto tickets. No reason to pay a premium when they are all good. "Oh no, a QB prospect I liked went #1... guess I'll just have to chose between these other two QBs I like"

I wouldn't invoke the Forbes card. That dude was 166 lbs. Ether-weight. Even if he is not 220 like some sites say, Daniels probably will have like 40 lbs on Forbes. He does have a lean build tho. At any rate, at least we won't have to go through the insane "he can put on 35 lbs before the season" impossible nonsense peeps were spouting about Forbes. I want to hope that lesson is generally understood now on a community level. ***Not calling anybody out... just snuffing future arguments.

The fact that Howell is somehow still drawing breath on this Earth is almost making me consider giving up red meat... almost...

Sam is worth more to me than a 6. Furthermore his cost or presence is not prohibitive to bringing in a vet QB if that is desired. We will run w/ 3-4 QBs in camp and likely roster 3. If they wanna bring back JB or get a Flacco type, keeping Sam does not prevent us from doing anything. You can still draft your high-end solution on top of going out and getting a mentor. Sam is only a limiting factor in the most unlikely scenarios where he is forced into direct competition w/ the new guy, otherwise you'd just be getting rid of him simply for the sake of getting rid of him. Outside of injury I don't think we are gong to be in a position where Sam is competing for QB1 next offseason so I don't see a potential problem. He'll be a backup QB with a little bit of upside and considering he is the only QB we have under contract its all we got right now.
