  1. Now that's what I call voter enthusiasm! /s Meanwhile Biden is just fundraising away... not having to match spending... not having to send half his paycheck to legal fees... https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2024/01/15/joe-biden-raises-97-million-fourth-quarter/72226821007/ Joe Biden's reelection campaign raises $97 million in 4th quarter, giving him a record war chest
  2. Judging by the articles posted in here that last few weeks I think what kind of O you would want to run would be a bigger deciding factor on who to draft between Maye and Daniels rather than the difference in prospect quality. They don't seem to be that far apart in a lot of people eyes. As of right now there does seem to be more analysts that favor Maye as the #2, but its not across the board, and you gotta expect Daniels stock to skyrocket at combine time. Based off what I have already read and where I expect it to go I can easily envision a world where a lot of teams would have Daniels at 2. It will be interesting what HC/OC we pull down. That will help refine the choice.
  3. I meant in the context of those specific clips. I don't care if a WR is wide open after a QB has made several reads to find a great option. In general yes, having a great cast of WRs limits the need/want/will to throw tight window stuff. Having wheels like his doubles down on that as well. Why risk anything when you avg 9 yards a carry. Tight window stuff is certainly something that will be more necessary in the NFL, but in terms of evaluating the value of the above specific clip, I don't care one iota.
  4. Not every skill has to be special. Some are simply fundamental to good QB play. In those clips there were several things you need your QB to do. -Head/eyes manipulation of safety (hard to know if it was intentional, but its there) -Going through a progression -Not taking off and running after 1st read, or 2nd read -Scanning both sides of the field. Clearly not a half field read. -Feet/Shoulder alignment to new targets. Some good mechanics there I'd say it would not show much if these were 1st read red stripe rips to wide open guys, but these were multi progression reads to guys on the opposite side of the initial read. It does not matter if the recipient is wide open or not, he worked his options until he found a guy that presented a great opportunity for success. That is what you want your QB to do. Those are quality NFL reps. I also thought it was interesting that Daniels does not pat the ball b4 throwing in those clips. I'm interested to learn his hand size at the combine.
  5. How does he catch that and drop everything else? That was a laser
  6. Man almost took Hurts head off. lol gotta flag that. That's how I'd defend that play tho. Do it at Hurts expense.
  7. Wink blowing up and leaving at the end of the season makes way more sense now. I didn't give it a lot of thought before but if things like this were going on in that org... yeah that was a logical endpoint. With reports like this Dabol's seat is gonna be nuclear hot next season.
  8. Nah. Female viewership has exploded in recent years. Those commercials are just a sign of that.
  9. Best QB in Lions history is looking great. that was a nice pass
