Last game, that dude used his eligible Olineman to decoy and easy TD for his TE, and then actually threw said Olineman a pass later. Forget adjusting to the flow of a game, that dude adjusted to ref controversies in the span of a week and used them to his advantage. Yes please.

The Lamar comparison for Daniels is only focusing on half the story. His stats say he is light years beyond what Lamar was as a passer coming out on top of being an electric runner. And he compares well to his other two draft mates too. Even in their best seasons, neither Maye or Williams have had a better completion percentage or Y/A than Daniels had this year, let alone the space between those numbers and college Lamar. Jayden is a whole other animal.

There will always be appeal in shopping for your own groceries. Its a performance based league and there will always be comfort in winning and losing on your own terms rather than the terms provided by others. No matter how anything goes, you don't really have anyone else to blame when you are an empowered HC.

With the exception of already building my coaching staff around the idea of getting a specific guy (like a read option experienced coaching staff w/ the expectation of getting Daniels) I do that deal and don't think twice. I'm good w/ any of the 3. Paying me to take one is just gravy.
