  1. Does anyone think the lack of commentary in the Post about Bezos being frozen out mean that maybe he’s still a player? Seems like we would know from his camp if Snyder was totally blocking them out.
  2. No need to spend to the cap. Resign Terry. Roll some cap into next year and spend more if Carson has panned out.
  3. Ugh. I’d love to never hear about Brady and the Pat’s again and they’ve infiltrated even this thread. Insufferable. I just don’t see a place here for Bradbury. If we sign him, I’ll trust the FO. If we don’t, I’ll trust the FO.
  4. Electrical engineering major. That’s impressive. I have a friend that failed out of electrical engineering and now he’s a patent lawyer. Those guys are smart.
  5. Sounds like not a lot of room for FA next year minus a Wentz restructure. Any idea how this compares to other teams in the conference?
  6. I really don’t want Bradbury on the Eagles. Their off-season has been too good. At what point do you guys think we will start to see some releases by other teams?
  7. I think we are much more likely to resign Landon Collins than Bradbury. I co-sign that decision making. Collins would help blunt our failure to upgrade at LB. Bradbury would come in without a clearly defined defensive opening to step into.
  8. I feel like maybe this is going to go like a conversation with Kyrie Irving about whether the earth is round. We DO have the advantage of hindsight. Also, I’m not sure anyone outside of extreme homers thought the 2019 Skins would be good. Do you literally not think that the QB, WR and running back positions are going to be miles better this year than in 2019? Do you believe that the talent at the skill positions of the 2019 team and the 2022 teams are anywhere close? Even if the top of the roster talent was close, which it isn’t, the depth is so much astoundingly better now. I can count one roster error I think Ron really botched. I thought he should have offered more for Stafford and made them outbid us. Still, we paid a lot less for Wentz, and he could really turn out still. You could argue for Justin Herbert being a miss, but NOBODY said that at the time. Are there picks and FA moves that I would have preferred? Sure. But to say that this Roster isn’t miles better than the one he inherited seems blind.
  9. This is just an intellectually lazy/dishonest take. Maybe you actually do think your moves would have been better. But, you don’t think the roster going into next year is better than the roster in 2019? https://www.hogshaven.com/platform/amp/2019/9/3/20847680/redskins-release-first-unofficial-roster-depth-chart-for-the-2019-regular-season That depth chart featured Case Keenum as QB1 over Dwayne Haskins Wr: Terry McLaurin, Paul Richardson, Trey Quinn TE:Jordan Reed(washed), Vernon Davis, Serena sprinkle RB:Derrius Guice, AP, Chris Thompson(washed) It’s not even close. The roster now is way, way better.
  10. Are we even going to carry 4 RB's though? I don't see it. They only kept 3 last year and things were less certain at the position then.
  11. Part of what gives this pick value is that Wentz misses games. Even if Wentz is great and is the long term solution, you’re going to need a solid backup if you’re a team shooting for the playoffs. And then if the backup shines, you can move him for value.
  12. We need a 2022 Depth chart thread. Does that already exist? I'm very curious what the offensive depth chart would look like, particularly at OL and TE.
  13. Love this signing. We have talent and depth all along the OL. Talent and depth at WR. Talent and depth at RB and TE. An actual QB. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. If we resign Landon Collins, and find some LB depth, I'll feel pretty upbeat about the playoffs. Not sneaking in, but being a legitimate team from wire to wire. Man, it would make all the difference in the world for us if Sweat and Young just got back to their form from 2 years ago.
  14. Didn’t realize he had 9 sacks last year and 10.5 TFL. That’s pretty great production for a limited athlete. https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/phidarian-mathis-1.html
  15. I like the looks of this kid, but anybody that watched college football knows he wasn’t the player Nakobe Dean was. I’d rather have had a pick with upside here and grabbed a journeyman FA DT. Still, I like the player and will root for him.
  16. Would love a Collins return. The defense was better with him last year and I don’t think we have anyone better to fill his spot. Im not super satisfied with this draft. The second round reach kind of ruins it for me when there were potential impact players still available. Still, I didn’t like the Cam Kurl or Terry McLaurin picks, so I’ll give it a chance. If we resign Collins and add some IOL depth on FA, and maybe a LB, then I think we’ll be going into the season with a better roster on offense and defense, and that doesn’t even factor in the likelihood that we will be healthier and the upgrade at QB. I do find it irritating how much better I like what the Eagles and Giants were able to do. Both teams added at least two potential stars, IMO.
  17. Ahhhhh! I’m trying to post a picture of the Aliens/crazy hair guy meme and it’s not working! That’s what the above picture reminds me of.
  18. Watch the effing Giants take him. You’ll get Brisker and you’ll like it!
  19. Honestly, this draft is the worst so far.
