  1. How is Dyami doing? Haven't heard a lot.
  2. Somebody needs to go in on these reporters asking a player if he's be vaccinated. Someone also needs to let these players know to tell them to STFU or simply say next question. That is personal health information and these reporters are out of line with that questioning. Ron should have killed that. He needs to before it becomes an issue. You can't force these guys to get it. And you shouldn't use the media to apply pressure/public opinion on them either. Don't ask, don't ****ing tell.
  3. Youtube is my friend right about now. 😆
  4. I'm actually hyped about watching this simulation. Its time for some damn football. But until then.....
  5. If you're having season withdrawals, I suppose you can watch this. Note the first offensive play for WFT is a glitch. Logan is in the huddle. Bates is not but ends up in the formation (double TE set). Bates makes the first catch and Logan stays in to block. Hmm.
  6. I envision this 46 man roster on Sundays. The highlighted guys are suiting up as backups on Sundays. Adam Humphries, AGG and/or Kelvin Harmon (whom I forgot to put on the roster) could suit up from time to time based on player status.
  7. Re-watching this game. After further review...... Out: Matt Ioannidis, Chase Young, Brandon Scherff, Cole Holcomb and total defensive buy-in The first half was dominated by two DH turnovers, helping Cleveland to 14 points. First Cleveland TD (off an interception where DH stares down the receiver over the middle of the field), had Landon Collins playing linebacker. Terrible attempt at tackling displayed by Collins after initially over running the play (terrific reason why he should never consider play the position). Next guy to miss who could have made the tackle but didn't? Troy Apke. Nuf said. Bad defensive play. Second TD was pretty much the same bull**** off a DH stare down interception. Poor tackling. On second thought. I have stopped watching. We no longer have the QB and hopefully we have better depth so guys can step in and provide reasonable professional football play if a player is out. We win that game with better QB play and team speed. I believe we have that now.
  8. So Wes is in year 2 of his 3 year deal. He did a pretty good job last year. But the fact that he was brought in by this regime says they are looking to either upgrade that position or just obtain solid depth. This is truly the first year since I've been a fan of this team (fan class of '96) that I've seen an offensive line like this. There are literally 6 guys I would consider starting material. And that's not including the obvious RG and Center positions. Now according to PFF, this offensive line was ranked 6th in the NFL last year. I'm sure much of that (if true) had to do with staying fairly healthy, Alex's style of getting the ball out and Turners ability to get his RB out in space in the run and pass game. This year we have a QB that can get the ball out quick with solid knowledge and experience in the offense. But this QB will have the luxury of playing with a crew of wideouts that can get open faster and possibly create YAC. Along with that, they have RBs with WR speed. In years past, when the QB got sacked, I'd immediately think it was a result of the QB holding the ball too long, the WRs sucked and couldn't create separation, or the O-line sucked. This year, I am thinking sacks will more often come if the defensive linemen just flat out won (which can happen from time to time). That's a better feeling than the hopeless feeling I would get when we had turn style linemen and poor QB play. Another thing to consider is the ability to max protect when you have playmakers at the wideout position running concepts like this scissor concept below. I'm actually wondering what player I'd put in the slot for the hot read? (McKissic, AG, Curtis??, doesn't matter because a decision needs to be made by the corner and safety....1 on 1 either way). Is Brown running my clear out route? Could he win? I'd say so against the safety if the corner stays in zone. With good O-line play, I really think we'll be seeing more of these concepts where pressure is placed on the defense. There is so much Turner could do with this concept alone. This could be an easy pass play that acts as a run on 1st or 2nd down. Endless possibilities when you have speed. Additional thought while I'm talking line: The only defense I am particular concerned with is Todd Bowles defense. If sacks occur in that game, it will be scheme more than our offensive line prowess. Hopefully Fitz has enough time against his defense to shift the pre-snap guess work in WFT's favor. Ironically I am re-watching the Cleveland game. Haskins actually makes a good read and hits the primary (in this case Terry). The play wasn't the exact route concept (no deep post/corner route on the right side). But the clear out route and quick route is definitely a good play to create positive yards on 1st and 2nd down. Especially if you are lucky enough to have your slot matched up with a linebacker or a lessor athlete. I think we'll have that luxury this year with the guys I mentioned above. This is what I'm talking about..... caseinpoint.mp4
  9. Watching the games against Ohio State and Georgia to see what he brings to the table. For one, he's played against top tier college players. He comes from a state (Ohio) where football is important. I like him from what I've seen so far.
  10. This may have been said already. But Brandon Scherff's reference to Cosmi's dead lifting episode is intriguing. I wonder what actually happened? So Wes was able to deadlift 765. I'm assuming Cosmi must have killed that to make Brandon react the way he did. Particularly to the media. It must have been some ridiculous weight. Either way, this kid must be strong as hell. You confluence that with speed, a 6'7 frame, and an attitude. ****, it might be some a dem pancakes we like on Sunday mornins. Can't wait to see training camp because these linemen are going to get the top talent this league has to offer. Iron sharpening iron for sure. https://washingtonfootballwire.usatoday.com/2021/05/14/watch-washington-offensive-lineman-deadlifts-765-pounds-wes-schweitzer-football-team-free-agent-signing/
  11. Man, if he ends up playing RT and he's a Matsko pick, I can imagine what next year's pick will be at LT. Because rest assured they are going to get the generational one next year if Cosmi is not Neo (Matrix reference for those inside of it).

  13. This year will be crazy with RB threats on film. Defenses will have to respect AG, Samuels and McKissic coming out of the backfield. It kinda makes for up to 5 WR to cover on a given formation. How do they defend if you have good OL play, a QB with experience and a OC looking to attack defenses? 🤔
  14. 0:58 Mark - The no look (kinda) 1:29 Mark - Immediately reacts to the pressure, dumps it off to the open back and goes down to help block. That **** is boss!!! And it get your teammates behind. **** Montae up btw. Smh. Going to be an exciting year on the offense. No doubt about it. The playbook is going to be fully open. 11 man with sub 4.3 speedsters at every skill position. **** outta here! Lets hope 6 additional years in the league brings that analytic down. Because this defense will be prominent. They were actually a scoring defense last year. If they do the same this year, I'm recording every ****ing game.
  15. Maybe Moses getting cut was more of wow we were just talking about that from Keim. I thought he was blindsided. Any who We'll see what this line does this year.
  16. They are tearing it down. You build a modern spot there and add a RFK museum. Too easy. A Dan Snyder sighting. On TMZ no less. Wow
  17. Might be next level BS from the refs. But the refs made the call on Moses. There was 4 other guys these refs could have called it on. Jus saying. Bottom line, he's released. If the coaching staff thought his performance was next level, he'd still be here. Especially with time left on his contract. I get the remnants of Ashburn syndrome.
  18. I agree in part about the draft pick and FA signing. But I don't think this regime gets into the petty **** like siding with Trent. Bottom line for me is that we are finally seeing football decisions being made (ala picking up good players to compete over youtube phenoms and whatnot). Moses had no competition, Kerrighan had no competition. Whoever was the starter for teams of the past was who we had to watch. When they got hurt or injured, the replacement was a significant drop off (as if that were possible). Now to both of their defense, they were available. But conceptually, this team has always lacked depth. IMO, Moses should compete and earn his starting position.....every year.
