  1. Interesting. Be nice to see the offer details. I am inclined to think the new regime is into keeping their own. But technically BS is not their own. Just sayin' Plus the offer is based on this year's cap right? Not sure. But if it is, this may not be the time for a player to sign a long term deal. According to NFL.com his projected contract was five years, $85 million ($17 million per year), with $48 million guaranteed. If that was the offer, five years is a long time. Especially when you consider where the cap will be when things open up and the TV deals kick in. I'd wait, play on the tag and bet on myself. Kid better stay healthy and ball out.
  2. Interested to see what our defensive lineup will be vs 11 man. If we can pick up the LB out of ND I think we create better matchups. I also think good FS play would improve the ability to defend it. I think a good FS knows where the help is needed. A LB against a scat back is rarely a good matchup Mr. Apke. However, I think Owusu-Koramoah provides what this defense needs to alleviate those big plays the defense gave up last year (which was mostly out of 11 man). We'll see. Found this short article interesting. https://steelersdepot.com/2020/12/beating-washington-football-team-three-plays-to-attack-their-defense/
  3. Are you Rick James? Go back and look at what you typed. You may have thought you said people like him. Look this is over. You have your take. I have mine. Live with it.
  4. I used to work for a large organization that had a media room where all the reporters would meet and get a morning brief on what to report on for the day. The head person would stand up and provide a bullet point slide identifying what's news worthy. But in that, they would generally leave out facts if it was deemed detrimental to the public or contrary to the underlying perception the head guy wanted. Its the reason you rarely read "feel good" stories. I also used to work as a stock broker. Same thing. We'd have our morning meeting. The floor manager would tell us what stock to push for the day. Actually what stock(s) they wanted us to churn clients with. So the moral of the story is unless you have intimate knowledge of the what the **** is going on, your opinions are meaningless and probably lased with a little bit of bull****. Anyway, I'm done with this ****. Hope this football season brings more winning.
  5. Running away? Lol. You ask me a specific question about my opinion on Hitler. I told you straight out that its none of your business. That's your answer. What you're really trying to do is pull me into your bull****. But here's the thing.....I never gave you an opinion on Dan either. Did you ever hear me say he was a good person? You probably did in your own mind. But again, that's who you are. And again, it doesn't matter. Do you. But I will say this....nobody is completely good or bad. That's just me. I keep saying I don't trust the media. And in that, I don't fully trust the stories and reports on Dan or anybody else the media speaks on. Particularly when they are one sided, riddled with assumptions and written clearly to gain public perception. So lets just say the NFL investigation comes back with no findings. I person like you would probably say the NFL swept Dan's transgressions under the rug. So in essence you would be siding with a media report over a legal investigation. You know why you would do this? Its because you are programmed that way. Now be clear, the investigation doesn't forge my opinion of Dan either way. I don't have an opinion. Its meaningless for me to have one. Do you get that. My opinion is on the media and its inability (due to time, lack of resources, biases, politics etc.) to bring information to the public in a fair and unbiased manner.
  6. I think the draft will be exclusively linebacker and TE. The rest will be a search for diamonds. The team is pretty much built. I don't have a problem with any of the starting spots. But I'd also like to see them go the FA route for KPLs replacement if they aren't able to get Parson (which I doubt will happen). The kid from ND is a bit too small for my taste. Bolton is a walking personal foul. We'll see
  7. You keep aligning yourself to one sided reports/stories. Do what you like. But I don't align myself with that ****. So stop trying to convince me to do otherwise. I've spent too much time at levels in a number of places all around the world to know how twisted **** gets when the media wants a narrative pushed. Not sure about your life experiences (although I don't care...at all). But you strike me as a closed minded individual. Its fine and no offense. But don't push that **** on me is all I'm sayin'. Stop trying to convince me to like or dislike Dan. But to that (and I keep saying), I don't give a **** about Dan. But I do care about thinking for my own damn self on all matters. Hint hint. That has been my point all along. So a lone ticket holder gives an account of his/her experience trying to meet Dan....a starstruck person that didn't get the experience they expected? Really? To me, the ticket holder needs to just grow the **** up. Smh. But think about this......how does a random ticket holder end up telling a story about a handshaking incident with Dan - In a national column no less? Was the incident so egregious that it was news worthy? Or was the reporter looking for dirt? And through all of that, you never hear from Dan defending himself. You know why? Because grown folk know people are going to hate regardless. Time is too important to be worried about that ****. See, you're the type of person politicians absolutely love. Fact is, there a lot of you(s). People who's thoughts and perceptions are easily manipulated. Its one of the the reasons teams have public relations. In fact, the 106.7, the WPs and TMZs of the world know about this select population. And they profit gloriously by giving you as much bull**** as possible. You jump on the bandwagon and the gossip, hater, sheep gods cheer in delight.
  8. Again you are creating an argument in your own mind. Asking me if I have an opinion on Hitler speaks largely to your desire to win an argument. Further, my opinion on anything outside of what I speak on is none of your business. You really need to check you mindset. You're digging why out there. If I'm not mistaken, you're aligning Dan to Adolph and OJ (??). I'm done with you bro. You deal with whatever matter you have going on between your ears.
  9. I am not defending Dan. I am defending free thought. There is always two sides to every story and the truth is rarely ever told by the media. You seem to allow the media to get you hook line and sinker into a particular mindset. I will apologize for using the term sheep since that seems to offend. I will simply say you strike me as a frequent follower. Again, do you. I never posted to change your mind or your battered teammate.
  10. Many of you hate the term sheep. But..... You read what you want to read. Dan giving gifts doesn't make him a great guy. But one sided, unverified speculative reports don't make him a bad one either. The biggest problem I see with the two that tend to respond to anything relating to Dan is their comparison. I mean OJ? Really? It really does speak to level of influence/brainwashing the media can have on a person. I recommend (ironically) to stay medium. You don't know anything about anyone outside of your circle. All you know is what you hear from a select group of people that are paid to keep you entertained or frustrated. They could give a **** about you being informed. But with all that said.....do you. But to that, who would you like to see as owner and why? I'll answer it for you. It doesn't matter what you think.
  11. Who else deals with Dan? I am almost certain no one in this group deals with Dan. I'm not even sure the media deals with Dan. I am almost inclined to think it is the reason the media attacks him so much. To me, a lot of what we hear is speculation and/or definitely one side of the story. And its very easy to align yourself when the team is losing. Right now, the greatest coach of all times is being minimized as being just a coach that was lucky to have Brady as his QB. We'll see where that narrative goes if they don't get back to that level of play. Because rest assured, the media will shift on Belichick's interview shenanigans if they begin losing. Fact: The media is probably the most skitzo organization on planet earth. Unfortunately, they're our only source for information. **** 'em. And in that ****-ism, I take news about Dan with a grain. Like I said years ago...Dan personally stopped by a needy family I know and gave them gifts for Christmas. Plus I know business failures are learning opportunities. So even if it takes a few bruises to see success, keep going. It is the reason, I'm not looking for this owner to leave/quit knowing the next will have failures early on. I ain't got time for that ****. Kraft got lucky. Just think about the media **** storm Kraft would have gotten from the hooker incident if his team had our record. Bottom line: This is a multi-billion dollar business with lots of egos, narcissism, backstabbing, and power plays. There are no villains. Its all business that just happens to have a football game attached to it.
  12. I probably could have used a better word than relevant. I think a lot of people are asking for a new owner, much like we ask for a different QB thinking its going to magically turn the franchise around (only to see him get injured, bust or out right leave - can you name them? Lol). Hell, Bezos could come in here and decide its a better profit opportunity to change the colors, name and move the team to Dubai for all we know. But in all seriousness, the grass is always...(you know the rest). That in essence is what I mean by irrelevant. Now with that said, Dan needs to STFU when it comes to football decisions. He's been here long enough to understand that. Plus I think for the first time in a while, we have coach in Ron that commands the team. I really think if we were to get another owner, we'd be starting over again, unless that owner has an NFL background. IMO, a newbie owner would be heavily involved with football decisions early on (inherently IMO). He may be doing it just to learn. For instance, He may say, hey I like that running back. And Bam, the organization will spend time looking into that player based off the owner thinking out loud. So I think we need to be careful what we wish for. Ron spoke today about how he appreciated the support of the owner (7:50 mark). That coming from Ron speaks volumes to me since Ron has been nothing but transparent. Now with the being said, I'm sure Ron will speak on it if a football decision is made unilaterally by the owner as well. But I think Haskins was the last.
  13. I don't care about Dan's personal life or personality. It irrelevant IMO. The players love Ron. The players play for Ron. Ron seems to have control of the football operations. The team seems to be getting more talented. Hopefully they win games on Sundays. Every person in the building (for the most part) are football guys. I'm good. The media's job is keep things interesting. They're doing a great job. But its far from important. If Dan sells the team or not, football will be played on Sundays with a owner in the box. If the team loses games, that owner will begin to be villainized by the media. The sheep will latch on to the stories (true or false). And the beat goes on...... Look at Kraft. His team is winning Super Bowls. He's got to be one of nicest guys you ever want to meet, right? Oh but there is the time he (finally) got caught buying ****. Amazing how the charges got dropped but the women get charged. I don't even recall hearing much by way of the media on this. Not as much as this apparent event that took place 15 years ago. Kraft's **** was more a blip turned punch line and not even a full on NFL investigation. Anytime the NFL has to emphasize that the Person Conduct Policy applies equally to everyone in the NFL, that means it doesn't. Anyway, I don't care.....
  14. Plays with a little bit of dog in him and has a natural ability to catch everything (at least on youtube). 6'6 215 is skinny, so he'll need to do something about that, (although Randy Moss was 6'4 210). Not comparing, but there is something about him. This report says he has work ethic and character issues. Not sure what that means since its thrown around so much. Haven't seen a police report. But it says he's had off the field issues. Saw something about his academic not being up to par. But as much as I hated school, I can't speak on that. If that's the off the field issue, that's bull**** for me. All in all, I like to see NFL receivers with these four innate abilities. Some in the league have to work on it. He strikes me as a natural. 1 Innate body control 2 Good hands 3 Tracks the ball well 4 High points the ball well If a receiver can come in the league with only route running, understanding defenses and learning to get off the press, I'm good. https://walterfootball.com/scoutingreport2021tjvasher.php

  16. Not very high on watching Youtube and making an instant determination on a player. But there is something to this guy. Runs a 4.4-4.6. I've seen him run away from guys. I like him.
  17. For what it's worth....I'll have to take a look at last year's Jets games. Just reaching back to see what Jets fans are saying. Not sure about the hair deal. But whatever..... Remember these are high lights. Not low. I think he's a depth move. Starters are Fuller and Jackson III unless he's competing for the slot which could be possible
  18. Let us keep in mind there is an ownership group. And while its easy to point culpability on the main owner, there are still three other owners that should know what the hell is going on with their investments. Now with that said, I am sure all of them (to include Snyder) is not coming into the Ashburn with coffee every ****ing morning, sitting behind a desk and dealing with operational bull**** all day. But as owners, I get they are all responsible for providing a safe environment for every worker in your building. You hire people to ensure that happens. In this case, they made bad hires (who are now fired). My point is the narrative is that Dan is completely at fault and the other owners want out because they are disgusted with what has gone on during their tenure with the organization. GTFO. That's bull****. I'm sure they were at some parties and gatherings. Maybe not Mr. Privacy (Rothman). But still. Its BS to think they didn't know if something was going on. Rothman - https://www.tampabay.com/archive/2003/08/13/the-unassuming-man-in-the-owners-box/ Schar - https://www.abcmoney.co.uk/2021/02/03/is-dwight-schars-bella-collina-team-caught-hiding-the-ugly-truth/ I won't bother Smith because he's a Marine. But I'm sure we all have bull**** in our lives we need to cleanup. Bottom line: the narrative will always be bias. A lot of people are all in on the other owners winning this business battle. They even want Bezos' who has his share of scandal to come in and become owner of something he doesn't even have experience in. All he would provide is maybe deeper pockets much like Dan initially came in with. Narrative is a mother****er.
  19. I have watched last year's game a few times. What I saw on defense was some talented playmaking type guys learning a new scheme and learning to buy in. This defense does not need upgrades IMO. It could use depth like teams can always use. But beyond learning to contain mobile QB, this defense was solid if not dominant in some instances. They now have a year together under their belt. They have a better understanding of what they need to do. They did upgrade at CB. I am really looking at them picking up a size, speed linebacker in the draft or a guy on cusp in FA. I don't think Ron likes rookies in key decision maker positions like middle LB, so a LB in early rounds would surprise me. I'm looking for a replacement for KPL. After that, I'm good. On offense, I'm looking to see if Moss has developed at TE. The fact that they re-signed him tells me they only waived him to take advantage of the COVIT rules....not performance. And for me, coaches do not give a player an ear full unless they like them and see potential (or in his case the coach may have gotten a little advise from a well known dad to be hard on the kid). I do think picking up TE/bruiser/possession type in the draft would be a good idea.
  20. I still want to see what AGG brings to the table with a year under his belt, a (hopefully) real off season and some preseason reps. Showed good burst on this play. Of course he got nicely welcome at the end....but still. I have a feeling he'll make some noise with reasonable QB play this year. Tana (Moss) pretty much summed it up when he said AGG just needs to play with confidence. I think Samuel and McClaurin gives you the speed to keep the possession receiver in 1to1 matchups. We'll see. https://www.nbcsports.com/washington/football-team/watch-antonio-gandy-golden-gets-blasted-first-nfl-big-play?cid=Yahoo&partner=ya4nbcs
