  1. Kinda of like Sam but now with no left tackle and significantly slighter. He won’t take as many sacks as Sam did last year though but only because he won’t last long enough to.
  2. If you’re so big of a fan, why didn’t you get his name right? It’s spelled LeVar.
  3. Yeah, I mean I get it. That’s the thinking and that’s the reasoning a lot of people keep saying, but I don’t think that that’s ever actually been true in practice. If a team has an awesome rushing attack and an awesome passing attack, they do both and they complement each other Making them even more dangerous. Imagine how good Michigan run game would have been if they weren’t facing stacked boxes all the time.
  4. JJ is not a high first round pick. That is the most ridiculous **** I’ve ever seen. You do not have a stud quarterback and then not let him throw the ****ing football. The reason they didn’t let him throw more is because he ain’t that great.
  5. Moving to a new school next year. Apparently being the PE teacher there is kind of like being the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers. School opened in 1981. I’ll be just the third PE teacher they’ve ever had.
  6. I’d be more inclined to believe JJ McCarthy is a great driver if mom and dad would’ve trusted him with the keys a little more often.
  7. If they want to make kickoffs more exciting, make it so that once possessions has been established, any fumble is a dead ball.
  8. Are you going through the stage where you are convinced that whichever quarterback we pick will bust? I did that last night.
  9. I don’t really follow college basketball. Is this what all of the players in the NIT look like?
  10. Oh my God, what if we could trick New England into thinking that McCarthy doesn’t suck? I love watching Peters manipulate his marionettes.
  11. Your conflating dual threat with run first. He was definitely a dual threat. A lot of the most successful quarterbacks in the league right now, I would classify as dual threats, but in the same sense that Drake Maye is a dual threat. Big guys with huge arms that can also run… That is the most common profile of the successful quarterbacks that you see in the NFL right now. That’s Drake Maye.
  12. Correct. I am committing, right now, that I will allow each and every one of you to whack me in the balls with a car antenna as hard as you possibly can if we draft anyone besides Drake Maye at #2.
  13. Absolutely. Most people don’t know anything about how to play QB (I don’t mean that as an insult. I played from age nine through college and coached for a decade before I ever learned anything about quarterbacks and I still don’t know squat compared to a whole lot of people) so they can’t actually evaluate the position but anyone can see if a guy runs fast or looks exciting while he’s playing and that’s how they judge.
  14. His footwork is worse than Maye. His base is way too wide and he takes a big ass target step. His drop is all screwed up also. The McCarthy stuff is just a running gag. It’s like when people were talking about some linebacker named scooter that we cut or dining Eddie Royal at Morton’s for the last twenty offseasons. Don’t fall for it. in the second clip, where he’s scrambling around like I used to do with Bo Jackson on TecmoBowl, he’s playing Maryland. He’s literally running around against a bunch of turtles.
