Go, Panthers!

They took the best thing off the menu. (Club House Grill, my dad loved it too). It came with slaw, which was perfect with the sando.

So "dude" has a new "dude", and I got double for my money yesterday. His dad is in the hospital, probably not gonna come out (I've been friends with his parents for decades, too), nobody wanted to cook, so he asked if I could bring a pizza and some salads. Of course, no problem. He dumped another handful in.

There was a place on Tybee Island called "Sundae Cafe". They had THE BEST seafood lasagna. It was amazing. We lived there for a few years, and there was another pizza joint with a seafood pizza that was awesome too. Even here, I try to support non-corporate local owners. It's more important than ever. Open-minded cool stuff won't happen unless we help it.

I'm not near as excited about summer as I am winter Olympics. (Hockey & curling!!!) But I'll be watching every split-second I can, go Team USA!!

See, @ixcuincle... I threw a few potatoes in the toaster oven, when I squeezed & they felt done, I threw half of a sandwich in just to toast/warm. Easy peasy.

You CAN cook, you know you can. Some of the stuff you've shown means you're getting into it. It's whether you want to. Sometimes I just throw something together, and cooking for one is not all that difficult if you know how to portion. (I don't like leftovers.) Way back in the 90s, there wasn't even a microwave in there, I knew several cooks who said so. (We don't have one in the hippy pizza joint, either.) But there's no oven in a Dunkin' Donuts either, they do a wet/dry steam to get 'em up to temp.

But is there actual food on the dishes? Back in the early 90s when I was working there, it was at least decent...

My last duty station was right outside my XO's office, and he walked in every day with "We're the world's largest nuclear Navy, let's get to it!" It was the ARC of NAS JAX. Yes, I was intake/re-entry for the Alcohol Rehabilitation Center, I was staff. Managed flights with USAF, etc. That's a good laugh, huh?

I wish. I wasn't there long enough. Edit, add: got a lot of girls to not let men ruin their lives. (Mine was all me, with a home, VA mortgage and a very stable job.) But most were in for stupid charges they could have easily avoided. -

Stop making me jizz. I.. Gave some damn good advice in those 17 days I spent in jail. -
Hubby & I took 'em on for Endless Crab Legs once. He asked the server for a bowl of extra butter. She brought him this little souffle cup...he said, "No, I mean a bowl of butter." Because back then, we would crack (and he knew how to get every little shred out) and throw everything in the butter, then just eat it out of one big bowl. (Rednecks, unite!) I could hear her yelling at the cooks, "We've got a live one out here, y'all..." And I haven't been in an Olive Garden since the 90s. Matter of fact, my buddy who traveled with Steve Harris for a part of his British Lion Florida tour recently took me there for dinner back then because I paid for everything at Lolla that year... yeah, the Zima was all on me!!! 🤮
