I was not going to be annoyed about this process because I thought we would just cast a wide net. We didn't just look to hire the first guy Rivera knows and become Carolina 2.0. I has that feeling before and was critical about it. But now I need to say something because we totally ignore the youngest guy in the office who at least looks to have done a solid job. Now we interview Stokes... It's unfair to give a guy like that a shot and not give Kyle an interview. If I would be Kyle I would be pretty pissed. If they don't respect his work. Right now I'm pretty sure he stays until the draft and then is fired. If we then hire a guy Rivera worked with in the past. I will be critical of it. Because that's no way better then the old Tampa old boys network. Please just hire the best guy and be respectful to the guys who worked for you! Do not just hire the guy you have the best relation with...

Personally I rather see WR or LB in the draft first round and if Smith is not a option sign a different veteran QB. Why? I think a good D with decent veteran QB will help us maximise that potential short term. Then in a couple of years year after year we need to sign D pieces to new contracts. That's when you want to have the rookie QB. To have the cap to keep the D together. Right now we have the room to overpay for a veteran QB.

I'm not surprised. This organisation is run by clowns for years. How can you then be surprised that you find out that the flower on the owner his shirt sprays water and he likes to throw pies in people's face? That's the clown culture...

It wouldn't surprise me if a team like Saints picks up Moore. On a team with a good QB and innovative OC he is going to do damage man.

All does qbs early worries me. Yes it can be 2004 (but I think that just will be an one of a kind draft. Feels like 90% of the first round became great) like but it feels more like 2011. I have to many doubts.

So early second is a good spot for finding a TE. If I get it right. Pitts is crazy but no way we can grab him unless we pick in the top 10.

I was thinking about him. I think we need to add a weapon to get Terry more 1on1 or at least take some pressure of him. I think a TE is probally the most useful option because you can line then up on the same side and force safety coverage to choose. Pitts has the body to at least become a decent blocker. So he would be a really interesting option.

As an European...that's what I think is the American way. 😂 Suing everyone and everything.

I also think Case gives our D some personality and fun. I'm not sure how to explain it in English...but most of our D is pretty "hard work, lunch box, grind football guys". From Jonathan Allen to Fuller. Look at the practise and game footage. He brings a fun and playfull element we kinda missed. He plays hard but is having fun, that vibe rubs off to other people. Portis, Moss and ST had that same kind of vibe. If you have to many it becomes a clown show. But a couple gives your team something extra. But we are evaluating the roster. Evaluating if we have WR talent. We can only find that out if we have steady QB play. So for Cam Sims I hope Alex plays a good level for the rest of the year...So he can show us if he is any good.

One thing we learned is that our Greek God is essential for the D. Payne and Allen just don't have the passrush abilty that he has. We really miss that. I like that we start kicking tires and adding players. If Ron wants to do a roster review year. But guys who don't have a future and try to find guys on practise squads. See if they have talent. I really would like to find a inside passrush te replace our Greek God.

It's not a good season for a rookie WR. First you lack the real off-season work to get on the same page as your QB. Second you lack the experience with your QB because we changed him. We tried to get him involved in a couple of games but he did not step up... I'm not sure if I can pull up the game tape of his snaps but will try that!

Dude the missed tackles today close to the line. That should be his strong suit.

Imo this is not the year to draft a QB because I don't think it's a good group and to many teams need one. So we are going to force average prospects into high round picks. We better just add more talent first. Either a better OT or a Off weapon.
