  1. In another thread someone posted how happy and relieved they were when Payne came back out onto the field. Hoping that means he was just bruised. I didn't like the look of frustration I saw on his face as he limped off the field. Cosmi came back in after a few plays.
  2. This. I think Robinson looked and ran like Tim Hightower today.
  3. I think this is pretty close to dead on except I would ditch Fromm, leaving 5 roster spots. Daniels and Scott (OT's), Armah (FB/TE), Obada and Henry. Henry was pretty well scouted during the draft, so I don't think he would clear waivers. Once we can IR Mathis, I would sign Jones Jr or Burgess from the PS. I think RB Williams is still eligible for PS even though this is his 7th year, though I may be mistaken.
  4. Totally agree with this. I think Tinsley makes it ti the PS while Burgess and Quan make the roster as safety and DB, or vice versa. How ever they label them.
  5. I didn't know when I posted this that Fromm has been around the league for a while. And although he's looked good for us in the last two PS games, I think the league knows what he is already. Therefore, I agree with not taking the roster spot for him. I'm guessing you were joking about Brissett, but damn, he's looked worse than Sexy Rexy here lately, lol.
  6. Chick just jynxed the hell out of them, but Whittaker made the adjustment! nice Whittaker!
  7. This sounds much more positive than the Rivera "for the most part" quote. Is that how you see it SIP?
  8. Yeah, I agree that was a Cpt. Obvious quote, lol. But just by looking at last year's team stats of the regular season, we just need roughly 11 more points per game, and appx. 100 more yards per game to match the Chief's offensive production. So, in a vacuum, 11 more points per game and the defense getting no worse, we should win the SB. One can dream I guess.
  9. I don't see how a bottom third QB is still a huge win. Especially if we still have to stay in the hunt for a starting/franchise QB in perpetuity.
  10. I know this is just speculation on Keim's part, but after re-watching the Washington/Baltimore game tonight, I wonder if the Ravens might be interested in a player trade with us for Fuller. Their secondary is currently decimated by injuries, and they need a starting corner pronto. Meanwhile they have some very good depth at interior linemen, and even at tackle. One of which, David Sharpe, used to be a Redskin. At the very least, they might be willing to trade one of their TE's who showed well against us last night. Just curious to see what people think about Baltimore being the source of Keim's speculation, and if there is anyone on their roster worth trading a quality starting corner like Fuller for.
  11. Hey ES'ers. Good to be back with all the hopes and dreams for a good year. Got my fingers crossed that we can finally put an end to the sad purgatory that has been the Snyder era and move on with new ownership. Just did my first mock draft and it's also gonna be my last because everything clicked and I would be very happy if it ended like this. Had at least 5 trades starting in the 3rd round. HTTC 16. Will Levis QB Kentucky 47. DJ Turner CB Michigan 97. Luke Wypler OC Ohio State 156. Ricky Stromberg OC Arkansas .Trade 167. Riley Moss CB Iowa Trade 173. Colby Wooden DT Auburn Trade 177. Dorian Thompson-Robinson QB UCLA Trade 182. Mohamed Ibrahim RB Minnesota 193. Rakim Jarrett WR Maryland 215. Cam Jones LB Indiana 222. Josh Whyle TE Cincinnati 239. Bumper Pool LB Arkansas 254. Durell Nchami EDGE Maryland After edit, I am not quite sure where my trades were, but this is the end result.
  12. OK, I need to clarify, lol. We didn't have high hopes for our D before the game started. They were gassed in the first half. The BIGGER problem was the totally anemic offense in the first half. And the total failure by turner to make adjustments to get Carson comfortable and keep the D off the field.
  13. Of that whole ****-show of a game, I think the D was the least of our problems.
  14. Horrific choices from the FIRST play of our possession. To let Dak run it out from a mid-endzone KO instead of kneeling for the touchback was the epitome of stupid. SMH Then it compounded for the first half. We didn't have to lose this game! We lost because of bad coaching.
  15. Dude, WTF? What do you even contribute with your negative schtick? Damned harpy.
  16. Me too. On one hand, he's from the Crimson Tide and being former teammate of Payne and Allen gives him more cred for future promise. On the other, you just replaced him with a kid who was sitting at home. Go figure.
  17. Until he got hurt, I figured that Mathis was just another DT that might replace Payne if he was not resigned. But after listening to Rico and other podcasters this week, Mathis's role this year was mainly to take on two blockers in the middle and clog running lanes. Not so much trying to get sacks, but unselfishly taking the heat, so Payne and Allen could feast. Not a true Nose tackle, but big-bodied like Swaggy was. Jeter seems like he fits the bill. Certainly looks it.
