    Forget who it was but I heard him talking on the radio yesterday and he was saying don't be surprised if Ovi isn't locked up and isn't protected before the supplemental draft. He said the Kraken won't pick him because he's a free agent and if they pick him he can still sign with the Caps after, so it would basically be a wasted pick. It's a way that the Caps can protect an extra person basically by not protecting Ovi. He also said that Ovi will be back 100% next year based on everything he's heard so don't sweat it that he's not being signed immediately.

    Put some more time into RE8 last night. I beat the first "act" or so yesterday and the lore/story of the game has grown on me a bit. I've just accepted some of the stuff I didn't really like much as far as the lore goes. I still think the boss I just defeated was really stupid and just felt so out of place, but whatever, it's still fun and has an awesome atmosphere. Still wish it was scarier though.

    Tom Holland was a very odd casting choice IMO, unless they are going for Drake before the games started. He looks too young for who they had in the game. And I believe Wahlberg plays Sully, which also is a bad cast IMO, unless again, they are going for pre-game stuff.

    I am pretty much with you as far as people being assholes. But it also is on the airlines. I just flew a United flight in coach and didn't pay for the "extra space" seats, and it is cramped AF. Like noticeably tighter than when we fly Southwest. And it's because United wants to get as much $$$ as they possibly can by putting more seats in, or making you "upgrade" to get more space.

    Played RE8 quite a bit more yesterday. I am loving the environment but not loving the lore/enemies very much. I like the exploration aspects a lot and how it "feels" like RE. It's a shame that it's not scary in the least though.

    The real head scratcher is why the **** would someone fly from Japan to Cancun when they have so much better beaches so much closer to them.

    This is one time I'd like the Caps to get boo'd. This was such a ****ty effort in this round.

    This really ****ing sucks. Caps up 1-0 in the series and then get swept 4 in a row after, 2 of those where they had the lead with like 5 mins left in each game. And now no Caps hockey for months. DC sports gonna DC sports.

    Also SSSSSOOOOO glad my work didn't give me tickets to this game. So happy I'm not there.

    Aaaaaand that's a wrap. **** this team. Hope Samsonov is gone next year too. 0-3 in the playoffs and ****ty off the ice discipline. Good riddance.

    **** Samsonov. I hope they get rid of him. He clearly doesn't give a **** about the team with how he was on the covid **** twice making him miss invaluable time with his teammates and on the ice. He's about to be 0-3 in the playoffs. I don't care what he has done when he plays in the regular season. Him and Kuzy. They both can **** right off.

    Nope, they can't do ****. I don't understand why their entry is so ****ing hard into the zone when they are up a man. Other teams don't have this issue. I would almost rather them NOT be on a power play because all they are doing is playing catch in their own zone the whole time.

    The lack of puck control during our PP's is embarassing. Then immediately after ours, Wilson makes one of the stupidest penalties of the season, and the Bruins are setup on their PP immediately and we're lucky to not be down right now.

    I know it's loser talk, but I am okay with the loss. Like they played Philly tough and down to the wire pretty much, Westbrook had a bad game, had some stupid turnovers down the stretch, and still were pretty much right in it. Hopefully game 2 they clean some of that up and the jitters are gone and they can settle down a bit. I mean if they don't win game 2 then all is over. It's basically a must win.

    All in all, Wiz are hanging with Philly and Westbrook isn't having a good game. I think I'm okay with that.

    I mean this officiating is a ****ing joke. Embiid got in the same ****ing kind of scrum that Beal was in earlier where no foul was called, and of course, they call a foul on Wizards.

    I am 100% okay with how that first half went. Now they just have to come out strong in the 3rd and NOT let the 76ers start the 3rd quarter with any kind of run. When Embiid gets back in, they need to keep attacking him to draw his 4th foul.
