    Make sure to load up the Untold documentary about Malice in the Palace. It's awesome. I watched that on my flight back from Puerto Rico last week (and played Switch the rest).

    I wonder if Czabe's political/covid takes are what got him canned from a normal show. That **** was getting annoying. I barely listened to him but when I did he was ALWAYS talking about that crap. And yes, Sheehan still has a show in the AM on 980, 6-9am.

    I'm pretty sure they just went back to the drawing board because of how ****ty it was received when they showed it last year. And they've probably been working people 100 hours a week to get it to ship by this November.

    Holy **** man Jordan Klepper has to be the best god damn street interviewer when it comes to this ****. There is nobody better than him. I only wish his videos were an hour long instead of a few minutes.

    God damnit I was hoping when I head to Aruba for my 40th at the end of November I could have a few on the flight. I'm flying SW but it's not looking like that will be happening. No drinks on the flight is by far the worst part about flying recently. And in the grand scheme of things, it's really not a big deal at all. But it's definitely relaxing.

    My friend who has a 1 year old daughter came to our son's birthday party 2 Sundays ago and he told me this week she had been sick and it was confirmed to be RSV. She got a covid test and so did him and his wife and they all tested negative. If the test was negative for covid and sounds like it's RSV, I'd wager it is and you all will be just fine.

    That isn't what DLC is though, at least not for the single player games. You are getting the whole game when you pay for it upfront. Games like COD or battlefield have the season passes because there is always new content that comes out and the devs (rightfully so) deserved to be rewarded for that. I mean if they are putting content out 2 years after the game is released, would you rather wait for 2 more years to get the "complete game" at launch or be able to play it 2 years prior, and decide if you want to pay for new content when it comes out? At the same time, you know exactly what you are getting for the initial $60 you pay for a game. If it's not enough for you, simply don't spend it. And you are doing exactly that - speaking with your wallet. Ain't nothing wrong with that.

    #2 is just flat out false and something in your head. I've had every console since launch since Gamecube (aside from Wii U) and the only one that had any issues was Xbox 360 with the RRoD. #4 isn't really true either as I don't play online at all myself and there is always a ton of games out to play, none of which involve any pay to win and DLC is optional.

    To be fair, while he is a professional athlete, he is also clinically obese and has a very high BMI. I wonder how much being that much overweight had to do with how bad he had it.

    Totally unrelated to the thread topic at hand, but I watched a show literally 2 days ago that talked about commercial flying being the safest method of transportation in the country. Per 1 billion miles traveled, .07 people die. So I was curious how it compared to car accidents and came across this. https://www.nhtsa.gov/press-releases/2020-fatality-data-show-increased-traffic-fatalities-during-pandemic So miles driven in 2020 were less (guessing due to covid) and it still w as 13.7 deaths per 1 billion miles traveled. That is pretty significant difference. Flying commercially is literally 195 times safer than driving. That is huge. Just thought it was interesting and kind of relevant to what you posted so passing it along.

    The sooner we get past the PS4/X1 generation, the sooner we'll start seeing true next gen games. I realize why devs are doing it, but that doesn't mean I like it.

    Flew to/from Puerto Rico the past week on Southwest and it went off without a hitch. The airports are pretty damn crowded as if there is no covid or anything, but everyone is masked up. The only downside is they aren't serving alcohol on the flights. I couldn't have my usual double Jack/Coke.

    Yeah I was planning on booking a trip to the Keys for our anniversary in September. But nope. Not now I am not. Florida is not a place I want to be.

    I wonder how easy it will be to get the booster shots. Like can I just roll into Safeway on November 3rd, show em my card, and be like "I'm here for my booster shot" and they give it to me?

    The controls alone changed the way RE2 played completely in the remake. Also, those games were old as ****, like 20 years old and on the OG PSX, so like you said, it just felt completely different. Being so old I didn't even remember the story exactly either so that helped. Generally speaking though I can't get too excited for remakes/remasters, especially when a lot of the more recent ones are like a generation old. I was super disappointed with the Super Mario 3D Allstars too in that all they had to do in Mario 64 was make the camera free control. But nope, they couldn't be bothered to do that and it's one of the laziest ports/cash grabs. Having a free roam camera would have been game changing.
