  1. So stupid they can't review that foul call that was clearly a clean strip, but they can review a charge call in the paint and reverse it...
  2. Wow they can review fouls in this case? Van Gundy agrees that's really dumb. EDIT: Wow and they reversed it to a block? That's got to be one of the dumbest rules I've ever seen in the NBA. A fast bang bang play they go back and look at it in slow motion and change the call?
  3. Whenever I try to lean up I typically try to go from 210-215lbs down to around 200-202lbs. I pretty much do a low carb diet. It's very easy for me to eat strict and eat the same things every day of the week Monday through Friday, but the weekends can get a bit trickier. My wife and I love to eat out so we still try to eat out at least once on the weekends when doing this type of diet. Thankfully with all of the Cava's popping up around, we usually hit that up and get a salad with specific toppings and it's a hearty meal with under 20g of carbs. I typically try to go for less than like 30g of carbs (net carbs) a day when doing this type of diet, sometimes with a cheat day on the weekend. I just got back from the Bahamas a week ago and since then have been slacking but next week I plan to get back on it. I'm lingering right around 202lbs right now however I may not be super strict because I definitely lost a bit of strength last week while on vacation and this week my schedule's been all messed up.
  4. You need a red filter on your camera. Your pics will come out much better. I've only done SCUBA twice but want to get certified. Once in Mexico and again last fall in the Keys off of Marathon. I snorkel a ton though. In all honesty, the Keys is one of the best places I've ever snorkeled. I've seen the largest sea life there. I've seen 6-7 foot sharks, goliath groupers, 4+ feet baracudas, 6+ feet stingrays, and the coral there is awesome too. John Penekamp is where I've been multiple times and it's always good. Looe Key is also good. Outside of the country, the best place I've done is Grand Cayman. Again, saw some nice sea life there and decent sized. Stingray city was cool too but that's obviously not a dive site. But the water there is just so damn clear the visibility is really good. There is great shore snorkeling too so I didn't have to get out in a boat. I've also been to Aruba a bunch of times. The snorkeling there isn't that great but I am not sure how the diving is there. The coral is pretty bleached at most snorkel spots and I've never seen anything really big there.
  5. The problem with @funnydanny is that he's not funny in the least. He makes sports radio painful to listen to. I like Grant Paulsen, but I can't really listen to him with Danny.
  6. Damn ok so I didn't realize it fell off that early. When I see his playoff stats on FG% a lot of that has to because he was taking it to the rack. I love watching him when he explodes to the rim. He is a lot faster and more powerful than he looks being tall and skinny. And he has some hops on him too. I hope they keep him around because he's really fun to watch, is probably the best defender on the team, and brings a lot of energy to the team when he's in the game and defending well.
  7. Oubre's shot fell WAY off like right before the playoffs. While Wall was out he was very reliable but I dunno, he just went ice cold when Wall returned and never got it back. He was consistent when he got to the rim and would get to the line often, but he was hitting like 1 out of every 10 three pointer he took.
  8. What is your guys opinion on Oubre Jr. being around after this season and getting a deal done with the Wiz? I haven't been following it too much but I do remember hearing talk about them looking to move on from him towards the end of the regular season. I'm getting a jersey this Friday at the game and I am torn between going with the safe bet in Wall or going out on a limb and getting an Oubre Jr. one. I really like him and I also like to have jerseys that not everyone has, but hearing that he could be gone, it's making me double think that decision.
  9. Yeah I actually called the store today and they told me the same thing that you said - 2 hours before the game. I wonder if it really means "2 hours before the gate opens" though, since the gates open 1 hour before the game starts. I'm going to game 6 too and want to be sure to get there early to get the damn jersey I want before they sell out!
  10. Thanks. That is weird then because yesterday on Twitter they said they were giving out the give-away shirts from game 3 with purchases at the store between 3pm and 5pm, which would mean it opened up 3 hours prior to game time. I wish I had known that so I could have tried to get down there earlier. I also didn't expect them to sell out of jerseys at the team store, I would figure they would have boatloads of them in backrooms somewhere, since they have to re-up on them every few nights.
  11. Was at the game last night and it was so much fun. That place was ROCKIN and there were even a lot of empty seats. I've never heard it so loud in a sporting event before. It was my first playoff game of any sport though too. The officiating all game was so one sided, it was really odd. It was fun letting the refs hear it too. Beal being fouled out on that call was laughable. I tried to get a damn John Wall City Edition jersey yesterday before the game and they were completely sold out by like 5:20pm. I checked the team store first then all kiosk's around the arena. I would have gotten an Oubre one if he was under a new contract but I'm a bit skeptical that he may not even be on the team shortly. Does anyone know how early the store opens prior to the games? I didn't even know you could access the store without having to get into the arena, and I'm assuming they only sell Wizards gear on Wizards game day. They were starting to flip everything around to Capitals gear as we left the arena. I may go to game 6 and if I do I want to get there early enough to be sure to get a jersey. It sucks you can't find the City Edition jerseys anywhere else.
  12. So glad that Sunday is not a sweep game and rather a game to tie the series. It's going to make going to the game A LOT more fun.
  13. Yeah I saw them at the stadium store on Twitter. I'm going to the game on Sunday so I think I'm gonna get one before. But the ones they are showing on sale there are different than the ones they are wearing in the game, they have gray coloring in the numbers. I wish they were white.
  14. Anyone know of any stores in the the DC Metro area that sell the white District Wizards jerseys in stores? My buddy was at Dicks earlier and they only carry the red or blue ones.
  15. I don't even care about these fines because it still doesn't give us a W Looking at the rankings right now, while we are currently at the last wild card spot and in the thick of things still, 5-3 is just so much better than 4-3-1.
  16. That was not a flop at all, the dude wouldn't let go of his foot for like 5 seconds after the play ended. You simply can't do that.
  17. Yep that's the one. They showed a replay from the sideline looking at Crowder and you could see Cousins in the background, and it was all in slow motion too. My brother and I were yelling at the screen like "HOW DID THAT NOT GET CALLED?!?!?" Little did we know how the rest of the day would unfold. EDIT: Watching these highlights, this just pisses me off even more. That Crowder touchdown ... wow. I mean the ref was LITERALLY like 5 feet from the facemask, looking directly at it. I know people say that the ref is looking to see if he scored a TD, but after the TD he points to the OTHER ref that was also looking to see if he stayed in bounds I guess. SO there were 2 refs watching that play up close and personal, and no one threw a flag. Unbelievable.
  18. Nope. I mentioned this in my first post in this thread as well. I didn't see it until they showed the one replay from a different vantage point that kept Kirk in the camera shot as he threw it to Crowder, and it was a very blatant late hit and helmet to helmet. It was on the opening drive as well and I didn't think much of it at the time. But looking back, it is very suspicious going along with all the other missed calls.
  19. Chris Baker was talking yesterday that on the Pierre Garcon OPI call, Pacman Jones hit him in the head with his hands at the line of scrimmage, and that wasn't even called. Here's the only blurry image that I could find which was on the article I read about it. Here's the full story. http://washington.cbslocal.com/2016/11/01/chris-baker-asks-what-about-jones-grabbing-garcon/
  20. There was a blatant roughing the passer against the Redskins, I believe on the very first play of the game or right afterwards, that nobody is talking about either. I did not notice it until they showed a replay and it showed the angle that kept the camera on Kirk after he let go of it. It was CLEARLY a late hit that knocked him onto the ground and was even helmet to helmet I believe. Just another one that was completely missed by the refs. I wish I had a replay of it but I didn't DVR the game today unfortunately.
