Yeah the whole episode was way too dark. Everyone is talking about that today and we talked about it last night as well while watching it. Grant and Danny are discussing it right now and Danny thinks it was filmed that way due to budget.

A lot of the same people who are not liking the recent direction GoT has gone and claiming they did it for "fan service" to appease the masses, are the same people crying that not many main characters died, which is what they, as fans, wanted to happen. Which means had the writers done that, they would have been doing more "fan service", which is what those same people are complaining about.

Pretty much all of the crying I am reading today is just that the story didn't go the direction they wanted it to. Which is okay I guess, but there is also clearly some valid criticism. But that dude above hit it on the head about how many of those same people are crying about the show doing too much fan service, then crying when it doesn't do what they (fans) want it todo.

WTF do some of you all expect Bran to do? Dude is a cripple who can't even move. Some of you would have been happier if a cripple who can't even move stabbed the Night King, but you're mad that a trained assassin who can change faces killed him? I'm also pretty confident we're going to have more of an explanation about what Bran was doing in the next episode or two. The only things that were a bit disappointing to me is how damn dark the whole scene was and that the dragons were basically pointless and Dany and Jon were on a joyride for half of the battle while their army was getting mauled. They could have used the dragons to burn more of those ****ers. But they did explain that a bit on the behind the scenes clip they showed about last nights episode, which made a bit more sense.

Completely disagree. Episode was great and a great setup episode. The whole Jamie and Brienne interaction in the episode was incredible, especially the knighting scene.

Infinity War was terrible. It is made for the ADD generation and was all over the place with no cohesion until WOW, all of a sudden everyone is together! I agree about Winter Soldier - that movie completely caught me off guard as to how much I liked it. I'm not a Marvel mark anymore though and can't stand comic book movies anymore, they completely have oversaturated the market with them. I also agree about Bumblbee. That movie was fantastic. It was clearly geared more in a 'kiddy' manner but I was okay with that and just all around enjoyed the **** out of it. I agree too that after seeing that it makes you think about how good earlier movies could have been if done in that fashion. It also makes me want a Transformers movie that takes place in Cybertron or space and focuses on the Transformers and not humans. Those scenes in the movie were great. The Silence - 4/10 - snooze fest that I was hoping would be better but A Quiet Place is much better than this movie. The little creatures were pretty cool though. The acting was so bad in a lot of it though and just all around the plot was silly and not much happened, with some huge cliches. The saving grace was it was only 90 minutes long.

Yeah and her brother died due to the "golden helmet" that melted his head to death.

Damn that video of Tiger hugging his kid and them then transitioning to him hugging his dad when he won his first Masters ... wow. It got a bit dusty in here all of a sudden.

That is the same exact thought I had too about the Ovi comparison.

This ESPN coverage is horrendous. It reminds me of the Olympics where they show like 5 minutes of footage then go back to the booth and talk about stuff.

Bumblebee - a solid 8/10. it's kind of kiddy and has quite a bit of cheesy/corny stuff but I overall enjoyed it. Has a different vibe from the Michael Bay Transformers movies too. Sound and visuals in this movie were pretty incredible.

I didn't defend anything. I just clarified that they were passing along second hand information. Someone disagreeing with you doesn't mean it's defending anything, let alone one time. The biggest nothing burger of all time was BA addressing the media at the combine at his 5th altered time slot of 8am.

It really really sucks that the only options we have for the mid-day show is Fat Grant and Unfunny Danny, and 200 year old angry old man Doc Walker. It's like having to choose between dog **** or cat piss. They both stink terribly. I've been not listening to sports radio quite a bit more during the middle of the day because these guys are just awful.

The dive shop I used is right out of Georgetown. It was Diver's Down. They don't have the big apple out there. I'm not sure which that is but there are a few right there in Georgetown. Lobster Pot is pretty close to the one I used. It is right to the left of Rackams. And no thanks to any type of cave diving lol. I Just don't have interest in that and those cenotes. That's too freaky for me for now and just not much of interest. The swim throughs were a little sketch to me but it wasn't that bad. I did get a little disoriented when we swam through the Kittiwake though. Since it wasn't upright and we swam in a door and out the smoke stack, it was just a bit disorienting not swimming "up" and kind of zig zagging. It was a very short swim through though. And it was darker than I expected.

The deep dive was at Eagle's Nest - West and the reef with those swim throughs was Eden Rock - West. I'm hoping to dive in the Keys in May over Mother's Day weekend where I can just do some shallow reef dives and work on my buoyancy while there. I feel that everything clicked on my very last dive and next time I dive I know to start with 6lbs of weight and try it out with that, and hopefully I will continue to improve on it and hopefully perfect it. It's funny watching the videos I took and seeing the instructors compared to us students lol.

In a time where we have a racist president and racial tensions are at an all time high, you don't see why people would have a problem with someone staging a fake racist hate crime?

I got a couple more but also thought this one was cool. This was us approaching the Kittiwake.

Here's a couple videos I pulled off my goPro. I wish I realized it was in this stupid wide mode prior so I could have changed it. This was our deep dive that's required for the AOW certification. Note the depth on my dive computer, as well as the max depth we had hit a minute of so earlier. Also, check out the beach ball the instructor is holding. It's a full beach ball (at the surface) and look at how flat it is. Pretty cool to see. Sorry that the video isn't the best quality either, but that'll get better with experience as I get more comfortable with everything. After that dive too one of the instructors told us how we were all tired at the end of the dive and its cause our buoyancy was bad, and you could see everyone other than the instructor kicking lol. It really sticks out in the video. The next two were from the fish ID reef dive we did that was like max depth 40ft, again for AOW. These are two swim throughs we did that I didn't expect to do, and was a little apprehensive about it, but just decided to follow everyone and it was cool doing so. The first video is longer and towards the end it's a bit dark, but it wasn't really that dark in the swim through, you could alway see pretty well. It's just the lighting from the camera making it look that way. The second one is shorter and the lighting is a bit better.

And now today I have a little bit of an ear infection. I'm glad this happened today and not with more dives left lol. It's nothing crazy bad or anything but I avoided putting my head in the water today at the beaches. Also damn my wetsuit is funky as ****. I soaked it in some fresh water with dish soap after reading about it so hopefully that removes the stench a bit. So far it seems like it did but it's still wet.

I'm now officially OW and AOW certified. Still in Grand Cayman until Wednesday. Here is Captain purbeast of the USS Kittiwake

Stranger Things season 1 was vastly overrated but was alright. If it wasn't for nostalgia factor, I don't think it would have gotten nearly as much praise. Season 2 was just bad and was like 90% screen time showing the lisp kid talk since he was everyone's favorite character from season 1. Not sure if I'll watch season 3.

So you don't know Chris Russel's job history apparently. Grant thinks he is a professional "anything he talks about". Danny is a professional stroker.

I couldn't really care less about baseball but I hear about it just due to listening to sports radio so I always know what is going on with the Nats, and damn when I heard this news today it made me LOL in my car. After all the dramatics of Harper and being more tiresome than the Cousins contract, it just made me laugh how he immediately got trounced dollar wise.
