The executive order supposedly means that the penalty for not buying insurance may not be collected. This automatically means higher premium for everybody. This may occur in 2018 IMO. We are safe this year. However, it means that Trump better find a solution within a year.

Prior to Obamacare, I bought health insurance for my wife for $100. It was cheap because the moment you have a preexisting condition, they could kick you out using all sorts of excuses. What use is a health insurance if it does not protect you from a preexisting condition? Now, I pay more than 300. Am I happy about it? No, but all it means is that the subsidy should cover more people. Even Obama said that was the right thing to do. There is a youtube video of Obama discussing this. bIt was set up by Vox. And I agree with him. If the middle class also received subsidy, and by a higher amount, a lot of people would be happier. Basically, if you make less than 400% of the poverty level, you get some subsidy.

Let me also mention that my premium really jumped this year. Last year, I was paying 400 something. This year, it will be 500 something. So an increase of $100 for me.

It is 100% true that coverage went up. For one, you can't be denied healthcare due to preexisting condition. One of the questions that United Health asked my wife (this was prior to Obamacare) was whether my wife had any preexisting conditions. Preexisting conditions tend to always be expensive. Trump has said that he will not repeal the "preexisting conditions" requirement of Obamacare. So I am pretty sure that you will never be able to buy a really cheap $100 type health insurance anymore. You know what else, one of the things that your Health Insurance is supposed to cover is pregnancy related stuff. My wife was pregnant around that time, so I decided to get the best Health Insurance from the website. So the requirements that your Insurance needs to cover more stuff make it more expensive. It is also a fact that if you make less than a certain amount of salary, you qualify for a discount. If I recall, the number was 50,000 for a family of 3? I don't remember the exact number, but if you are not making a lot of money, you will get a discount. Unfortunately for me, I make more money than that salary limit. So what does it mean? If you repeal Obamacare, people who aren't making a whole lot won't be able to afford insurance. That is not a good idea. At the same time, I think more people should qualify for the discount. The middle class I think is getting screwed here. It went up for me. I would like a discount. Obamacare is good, but it needs to be expanded. I think that if more people got a discount, you would see that people would be more satisfied with Obamacare.

My wife had Insurance with United Health for slightly above a 100 bucks prior to Obamacare. The deductible was much higher, since the insurance was one of the cheap ones. Now the cost is 300 something for me. That's a big increase. You can't get a 100 dollar insurance anymore. Obamacare made it so that Health Insurance needs to cover more stuff. So it is more expensive. Now, my daughter's insurance is cheaper at 200+ dollars (a 19 month old). It covers her a lot more. Insurance is cheaper for children I guess. I pay 500 something for health insurance. That is pretty expensive. The problem with Obamacare is that it does not cover the middle class. I did not get any discount, because I make too much money. However, the reality for me is that $500 is pretty steep. So I would think that instead of repealing it, it needs to be expanded, so that more people get a discount.

If the European Union does not punish the UK for leaving, there is a possibility that other countries will follow suit. So, I expect Germany, France and other nations to make it a painful process for the United Kingdom. Expect a recession. Besides, the Germans probably want Frankfurt to be the financial capital of Europe. Those countries want faster growth. They see it as an opportunity. The market does not like uncertainty. Growth rate will be terrible just because of that. Also, populism needs to die. If UK suffers, the probability that Trump gets elected will be zero. So, yes, I want the UK to suffer hard. I don't want racists and White Nationalists to control the world. The bottom-line for me is that, if the EU makes it painful for the UK, no other country will dare leave the EU. They need to do it IMO. Make the UK suffer. People want to scapegoat other people for their own issues. You see Americans blaming Hispanics in this country. In the UK, they like blaming Eastern Europeans and Muslims. Maybe you are the problem. I say look at yourself in the mirror. You don't have a good job not because of the Hispanics or Eastern Europeans or Muslims or China, but because you have issues.

Bruce Maybe Allen's intention was never to hire a guy who'll fix Griffin, but a guy who will do everything he can to make this a winning team. This is the first year that Allen is making decisions without Shanny--so gotta give him time. I think the draft class looks pretty good. Murphy has been rated high by pro football focus. Breeland is steadily improving. Moses looked bad against San Fran, but he'll be fine as a right tackle next year. He has made good progress as Keim has noted. Long hopefully is a starter too. This is not a bad draft class. As far as I am concerned, Allen inherited RG3 from Shanny. Not his guy. Shanahan's philosophy was, draft for potential. RG3 had potential, that was it. Remember that Trent Williams was drafted for potential although the guy Seattle took was rated higher. It worked that one time.
