  1. From a fan's perspective I've never been happier.  I was too young to have truly enjoyed that Bills/Skins Super Bowl.  This in my humble opinion, IF he sells and we never get to the Super Bowl before I die is fine.  He really took my fandom to the very limits.  I didn't care about losing, both teams are paid to play.  He tarnished this brand, this fandom, this team's organizational legacy.  I'm sure he wont care after he's swimming in his multi billion dollar buy out like he's Scrooge McDuck but if he truly was ever a fan like us, I hope he sits back and realizes the team that he once loved was ruined and sent to shambles under his watch.  I hope he knows his name to this teams legacy will be uttered with such distain he'll have to leave the area knowing an entire town and fans nation/globally wide hate him for what he's done.  I hope he knows he may have money but his family name...his legacy...like his ownership tenure is complete and utter trash.

I feel like Terry McLaurln is the X WR who is going to have to beat press.   With your number 2 WR's  you can put them in motion or put them in the slot (where they are lined up behind the Line of Scrimmage and cannot be pressed).

Unfortunately my response to that is still the same.  If he's having to be moved around to be schemed open, we over reached.  We also have another receiver that we already will have to scheme open in Curtis Samuels(granted that's if he ever gets back on the field healthy for consecutive weeks...which based on training camp is still a downward trend to not happening.

I feel like this was expected.

After watching Dotson while he was at Penn State, I was still thrilled we got him. I think a lot of people are starting to come around on him. Can't wait to see the bandwagon fill up once we get into the season.

I was crushed on Twitter saying that he was extremely talented but he has true concerns against press.  Everyone kept going back to the Ohio State game, I'm assuming they looked at stats and were like OH MY GAWD LOOK WHAT HE DIDZ AGAINST OHIO STATE.  I reminded them Ohio States S/DB were not as good as they normally are and resulted in them being in zone coverages more often than not.  I'm still concerned for him in press and worry we have a lot of speed but not enough size if a team decides to press/jam.  He has terrific hands but it still remains a concern of mine until proven otherwise.  Hopefully I get to eat a ton of crow this season.

If you string 4-5 singles in a row you score 3-4 runs if you hit a home run you get 1 run..

4-5 singles in a row gets you 2 runs.

2-3 singles and a homerun(which is where we should be in yr 3) gets you 3-4

  5. I've had time to sleep on the last few days of the draft.  I think I figured out why this draft is ****ing me off.  It's not overreaching for players because they're all going to be solid players in the league(I even took Mathis on ES Mock...though in 3rd).  It's that this team has taken the Ernie Grunfeld's approach to GM/FO.  He creates a problem for the team and then tries to throw crap at the wall to fix it.

FO created a problem bringing in Carolina wideout...overpaid for Samuels knowing Terry would be due for a contract, then he gets hurt and no one is being honest with his progress.  We take Dotson who has a lot of the qualities Samuels does(along with in my opinion a bit of Brown).

We release Ion and don't even make an effort with Settle...only to realize you're not going to resign Payne.  Now you have to scramble to create depth and replace Payne's upcoming absence.

You bring in a wideout to play running back and then don't understand why he may struggle to both stay healthy and pick up the nuances at the professional level.  So we go and draft one to "take the load off of him."

Hopefully today is better **crosses fingers**

  6. Tried my hand at it again, I'm thinking PFN may not be the best mock draft simulator...however I'd be satisfied with this draft too.

Dammit  it didn't show up when I looked

It's corrected.  The spelling was just off when someone else picked them so I missed it. All on me, but that's why.

I almost did the same thing before my last pick, it’s what took me 25 mins.  I had to look at the board multiple times and realized it was spelt wrong.  Then I had to flail around and find a new pick.

  9. With their final pick(possibly even a surprise choice), in the 2022 NFL Draft the Las Vegas Raiders select: Dee Anderson WR Alabama A&M

May be converting him into a TE for two TE sets

If that were our draft I think I would be pretty disappointed.  Not much done to address our offense, when our WR corps was rather pathetic outside of McLaurin. We have to add weapons to really open things up for Wentz and company.

I understand that but I'm banking on Curtis coming back healthy and Dyami actually getting looks now that he has a qb that can throw the ball downfield.  There were plenty of times he was open last year and never got the ball thrown his way once he got down 20-25 yards from the line of scrimmage.  I also think in general our WR core will look dramatically improved with better QB play.

A QB in the 3rd is a wasted pick

Disagree, it depends where you grade them.  I have a high second round grade on Strong, to get him in the 3rd is a steal.  He also fixes our issue for next year at worse...who is the backup qb.  At best it fixes a possible issue next year...who replaces Carson Wentz.

With the 142nd pick in the2022 ES Mock Draft - for @COWBOY-KILLA- the Rams select: Logan Bruss G Wisconsin

Good pick was hoping he'd make it to me.  Looks like I need to rewrite my board.

Just for semantics purposes only: I have back to back picks in the 5th, do I have 16 hrs to  select or do both picks get skipped after the first 8 hours

I think we need a rule that if you pick a player already selected twice in one pick you need to buy everyone else a round not just drink yourself!!  Just a thought!   🙂

This seems like the only fair thing to do.  I second the motion.

@clskinsfan Great pick, I was hoping he'd slip down low enough that I could trade up to get him.

  16. Apparently my Ouija board is broken, I'm sticking with the big boys theme in this draft.  With the 126th pick in the 4th round of the 2022 NFL Draft the Las Vegas Raiders select Thayer Munford T Ohio State.

Had him rated as my highest remaining tackle in the draft.
