Did you do the "donation" for $5-6? IF you do that you will have an uninterrupted broadcast. A little tidbit that is important.

The Random Thought Thread Vol 2---Read OP For Thread Rules
Riggo'sRangers replied to Jumbo's topic in The Tailgate
Hurricane Ida may be one really bad storm. Thoughts to Louisiana & other areas that may be affected. Realize that Katrina was just a Cat 3 storm. https://www.accuweather.com/en/hurricane/hurricane-watches-issued-for-new-orleans-parts-of-gulf-coast/1006485 -
Totally agree with this, but the Cows are an exception. Not seeing where respect has been earned by them, but yet always (every single year) given. I know why, $$$$$.
-
Agreed, but every reporter (for them) and their multitude of fans come off as ****y, condescending, smug, and arrogant. There is a difference between that and optimism.

You will get the broadcast they show in DC. For regular season it is the broadcasters assigned by the respective broadcast affiliate. For preseason I'm not sure, but would think local. I think the best marriage would be a local radio broadcast synced with the video but haven't tried it.

Game Day Thread: 2021 SUPERBOWL - RAMS VS. BENGALS!!!
Riggo'sRangers replied to zCommander's topic in Around the NFL
Yeah, he has much adjusting to do in the NFL game. He appears to be a bit overmatched right now. How much of that is coaching or simply bad players I’m not sure. Right now though it looks like it is going to be a rough year for the Jags. -

I watched the entire game as well & agree. We are using Jamin totally differently than Parsons is being used. Each team has a defensive philosophy and are using them to that end it appears. In watching the Cows, Parsons is ultized as the/a feature player on their defense, whereas Jamin is a piece of ours if that makes sense. It is just what it looks like to my eye. We have more than a few feature players on our defensive roster, not just one. It makes Parsons stand out for them. Proof in point by Baldy today.

After last night I would think Flowers must have the edge if it were me deciding. He played well and was blasting people. He played hungry & well. Very stout.

I would like another quality addition as well. We will just have to see who becomes available, and if they are indeed an improvement. A stellar LB would take us over the top. I very much want this.

As an ex-college athlete, I always wanted to play the best competition any time possible. Perhaps that bleeds over into my psyche as I actually really like that. Love it in fact. Heat hardens steel. We will damn sure know where we are at after this year and truly know areas of focus going forward. It’s going to be a wild ride & can’t wait. I love the fact our schedule is hard. True validation or/and know what direction we need to go in the future. Good times. Hail

"Fruit of the Loom, founded in 1851, is an American maker of underwear and other sorts of clothing. A red apple, leaves, green grapes, currants, and purple grapes are depicted in their logo. However, many people recall the emblem having a famous cornucopia (horn of abundance) behind the fruits, which was never present."

We must be cognizant of the delicate balance and psychological aspects of a kicker. I wish there was a Dick Butkus available as a kicker. That would rock!

Welcome to the Redskins Chase Young DE Ohio State
Riggo'sRangers replied to Sacks 'n' Stuff's topic in Around the NFL
Funny to me because I would be VERY hard pressed to name 61 players ahead of Chase Young. He should be much higher imho. THAT is what I found funny about it. The list below this where Chase is #40 is closer, but I believe he will be much higher after the 2021 season (from 40-not 61). The writer agrees. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/top-100-nfl-players-of-2021-patrick-mahomes-holds-on-to-no-1-spot-josh-allen-rockets-into-top-10/ -
This is correct. He is subject to the regular process now. We signed him outright instead of waiting for the allocation process that has no guarantees. Very good decision methinks.
-
You watched the game, right? He did a good job & was probably the 2nd best TE for us in the game. Figuring it was his first FOOTBALL game ever; (not HS, College, anything) I though he did a fabulous job considering all the factors. Just my opinion mind you, but he is good, and talented, and an infant football wise.
-
Prepare for shock. No way we will be exposed to waivers. The extreme talent is there and he actually performed better than almost everyone thought he would. No way he is attempted to be put on the PS. He would be sniped immediately by a plethora of teams.

“The short shuttle would have been the best time at the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine, and the forty time is faster than Ohio State’s Damon Arnette ran last year. Arnette was drafted nineteenth overall, and is three inches shorter. So you could say it was a good day for St-Juste.”
