"Their strength is the D-line" Meanwhile our D-line, most importantly our DEs, just do not make much of an impact on games. Dont really see the need to keep both since its not like our DL dominates. I would prefer keeping Young, Sweat has had many full seasons and just hasnt stepped up. Maybe part of that is JDR, but Id prefer to keep Chase and see what happens.

Our linebackers have to read the DL before they know what to do which is why they look so reactionary. In listening to the Keim podcast when we were playing with 5 down linemen they dont need to do that and you can see how much better they fill gaps. JDRs scheme is crap.

I'm not expecting a win, but by golly if we do pull it off that will be a fun fricken week. Either way I'm looking forward to what is hopefully a fun game, enjoying watching Howell.

Yes, it was a total fluke that it was completed. The rookie needed to try to knock that down, not catch it. If he does that its over. But that also still needed to be batted into the air a SECOND time to make it into the endzone.

In 2 games this season we have scored 14 points in the last 2 minutes of a half, something that EB was harping on as so important. 17 points if you include a FG with 2:47 left. I haven't been able to find any numbers from last year yet, but it already feels way different and we are seeing the benefit of that focus from him. 11 points in the last 2 minutes of the first half against the Broncos was huge for a comeback, that would never have happened last year. -

I think these takes are just habit at this point, especially for national media that really don't have any insight to the team and so don't know what going on. For example, the surprise that Howell was named the starter.

Man they really never showed our first string offense, maybe like 2 snaps and a couple others where they zoomed in on a DE during the play. Annoying.

NFL has to approve all ownership sales so minority owners buying a larger stake to do a hostile takeover wouldn't be allowed by the NFL. It's not like a normal business. -
