  1. No way they have us on Thanksgiving AGAIN
  2. Omg if we lose to the Giants again I am out...lmfao
  3. Guys are allowed to make bets with each other. Its a non story.
  4. Ravens will be hosting SNF Week 1. They moved up the start time of an Orioles game for that day and there is no other reason why that would happen. Here is my mock schedule: Wk 1: @ Tampa Bay, Sunday FOX 1 Wk 2: vs Philly, Sunday FOX 1 Wk 3: @ NYG, TNF Wk 4: vs Pittsburgh, Sunday CBS 1 Wk 5: vs Dallas, Sunday FOX 1 Wk 6: @ New Orleans, Sunday FOX 1 Wk 7: vs Cleveland, Sunday CBS 1 Wk 8: @ Arizona, Sunday FOX 4 Wk 9: BYE Wk 10: @ Philly, Sunday FOX 1 Wk 11: vs Tennessee, Sunday CBS 1 Wk 12: vs Atlanta, Sunday FOX 1 Wk 13: @ Cincinnati, Sunday FOX 1 Wk 14: vs Carolina, Sunday FOX 1 Wk 15: vs Chicago, MNF (flex candidate) Wk 16: @ Baltimore, Sunday CBS 1 Wk 17: @ Dallas, Sunday FOX 4:25 Wk 18: vs NYG, Sunday FOX 1 (flex candidate like all wk 18 games are) Pretty sure I won't get a single game right lmfao
  5. I mean it could just be that Daniels is slight, but his bones/muscles are just super sturdy. Genetics/biology can be weird like that. Burrow and Luck are built like stallions but both got/get hurt a lot. Devonta Smith on the other hand(I know not a QB but still)is like a buck 50 soaking wet and I don't think he's ever missed a game.
  6. I liked our draft overall but I do agree with the general premise that it feels disappointing to not get a more highly regarded T prospect in what was such a loaded T class. Kinda reminds me of last year when we didn't take a single TE when there were so many good ones(but at least we did end up taking one T prospect this year so not quite the same).
  7. Greg Zeirlein needs a statue and a spot in the parade after JD5 wins us a Lombardi in 2028
  8. A fun and competitive 7-10 that will have us feeling very optimistic by December
  9. Well our orignal plan was Darnold so....
  10. I thought Philly was some amazing sports town. They're letting NY fans invade their home court in a PLAYOFF game? What a bunch of clowns. Diehard fans my butt. I hate NY but I hope the Knicks kick their ass.
  11. Imagine an Abrams/Wood/Crews lineup for the next 5 years. I'm aroused.
  12. That'll be hype. I really enjoyed the one in Hollywood but it is a wee bit smaller than I thought.
  13. The Eagles and Cowboys both lost their starting C and the Giants suck up front. We can dominate the division by being strong up the middle.
  14. Its ironic because the best teams in our franchise's history were stacked with talent at the lines and WR. I wonder if people advocated trading Ricky Sanders because "were stacked at WR."
  15. As long as we have a QB on a rookie deal there is no reason to trade anyone good unless we just get blown away by an offer(like 2 #1s for Allen or something, but that ain't happening).
  16. Going to Chicago in a few days. Best pizza places? And all around food(specifically asian if you know any)
  17. All pro Gs, Ps and ST-ers don't move the needle much.
  18. The season finale is always a divisional game. And I actually think the Bears will be good this year now that they have a real QB and some legit weapons around him. D improved big time with Sweat too. They're my sleeper to win the division.
  19. Yep. We are in dire need of elite, blue chip talent. If Newton has a much higher chance of being a blue chipper than any "need" position, you take him. Use FA to fill needs(which we did a great job of for the most part. OT market was just dry and you can only fix so many problems in one off season).
  20. I think most teams scouts are more or less the same. It comes down to how they're utilized. Any scout who is highly regarded will get promoted and go up through the ranks anyway, and will either end up Peter Principling their way failing upwards to an executive role(see Vinny Cerrato) or is truly elite at their craft and end up a top notch GM(hopefully Adam Peters).
  21. Yep in total agreement and made a similar case with another poster earlier. But some people are stuck in their ways of DRAFT NEED NEED NEED because they can't see beyond mediocrity. The Snyder Era did a number on this fan base.
  22. I never expected anything from Bates. Mediocre athlete and just a blocking TE did nothing for me. The Turner hype was nauseating. Ohh la la so much athleticism but the dude never got open ever. I'd venture to argue that Rivera was the worst talent evaluator we ever had in the Snyder Era.
  23. Most advanced metrics had this OL as around mediocre but not as terrible as many here think. Bad scheme and a QB that has a propensity for taking a ton of sacks going back to college made them look worse than they are. Wylie is such an interesting case. His metrics suggest he's actually half decent. The problem is when he does get beat, he gets beat BAD. Its not like ok he got beat but can still put up a fight, when he loses a rep he often completely whiffs.
